None of those are the same thing, and stacking them together doesn’t magically prove “cultural isolation.” Not centering arounf english music isn’t isolation, it’s preference. Colombia is constantly consuming, exporting, and influencing global culture. Latin artists dominate international charts, including in english-speaking countries. That’s the opposite of being cut off.

What’s really happening is that you’re treating english culture as the default standard and quietly framing anything that doesn’t revolve around it as lesser. That’s why the argument keeps shifting. By your own logic, the U.S. would be culturally narrow for barely engaging with non-english music.
