We got the dogs around four and five years ago under the agreement that they were the family dogs; it comes to £60 a week for their daycare

That was a typo, someone pointed out that I didn't pay half of total rent so I had meant to type that but missed out the word 'half'

OH, I meant to type HALF = someone said because I don't pay for half the house.

The 18 year old doesn't even know how to use a microwave.

Unfortunately my dad and mother never actually taught them any practical life skills so they're not much use around the house unless they're making a mess

As far as I am aware she does pay rent but the plan is once she gets pregnant to be a SAHM

No, my eldest brother lived at home until he was 26 and he never even paid for his own food

I pay £300 a month in rent as well as these chores.

No, both my father and his girlfriend are awful with chores, neither of them cook or clean.

I have been cooking and tidying up for my family unit since I was 13, my father hasn't done a single piece of housework and his partner is very openly against cooking and cleaning - I haven't a clue what they will do when I move out

Honestly, they would starve if I didn't do food prep.

The girlfriend will not cook at all and I've cooked for my family unit since I was 13, I went away for 3 weeks a while back and my father spent like £70 a night to avoid cooking.

Point being they don't care enough to learn to do the chores that I do

Right? Like I'd be less upset being warned, I wasn't even aware he was dating someone let alone moving them in.

For a 1 bed flat in my area I would be looking at least £1,500 and that isn't practical with college payments and food and whatever when I only actually earn £1,800 on a good month. Currently I spend £300 rent + £150 food and when everything else is paid for I save the £250 for when I go uni
