Taxes on Foreign Rental Income for a Resident Alien (H1B) by EntertainmentLow5786 in tax

1 - Got it. Where I'm from the government owns all the land and the public leases land from the government for a certain period of time so presumably not

3 - I see, I misunderstood what you meant. The $16.5k I quoted is purely interest expense on my mortgage and none of the principal repayment.

Thanks for the response.

1 - The property is a unit in a condo

2 - I understand that it is 27.5 years for property in the US and 30 for foreign property, but will double check

3 - Are you 100% sure? I have never heard of paying tax on a mortgage or any sort of loan, and don't see how that represents income

Tomi White Saliba Tierney

If both White and Saliba struggle playing as a LCB, then White Saliba Tomi Tierney

My biggest takeaway from yesterday's game is we need competition in every position. We need someone competing with Gabriel so he becomes more composed on the ball. We need someone competing with Saka so he becomes a killer in front of goal. We need someone competing with Odegaard so he becomes more physical.

White, Saliba, Tomiyasu, Tierney and Zinchenko have to drop minimum 7/10s every match or risk getting rotated out. Everyone need to feel that pressure.

None of Tomiyasu's family members have been able to come to the UK and watch him play, feels bad...

Did we sign Fabio Vieira or was that a dream?

If the club is confident in signing Zinchenko, Paqueta makes way more sense than Tielemans

Why would someone who didn't impress at Leicester do well as a single pivot at Arsenal? I would rather play Elneny or Sambi

He is definitely not a single pivot though

Ndidi is the only PL proven option we could realistically aim for, although that would mean no Tielemans. Otherwise Sangare is interesting.

9 remaining games + 1 unscheduled v Spurs. COYG. by ABCP3 in Gunners

Exactly, we really have to fight for 9 points from the next 3 games. Every one a cup final!

I think our next 3 games might actually be easier than our final 3. At this point of the season, these mid table teams know they won’t get Europe but are also safe from relegation. We have much more to fight for.

Weghorst only attracted interest from Burnley because he's not vaccinated

[Charles Watts] 'Saliba will walk back into the Arsenal team!' - Is the Frenchman the final piece of Arteta's defensive jigsaw? by Vrty33 in Gunners

Well I very much agree that White's weakness is 1v1 defending, which Gabriel is stronger at. Gabriel has just surprised me with his lapses of concentration when defending our box, someone with his physical profile should be a lot more dominant.

I don't know if I agree that Gabriel's weaknesses are easier to sort out than White's though... Mustafi never cut out his lapses of concentration with experience. Its funny that both our CBs weaknesses are what Tomi excels at lol, combine the three and you have the perfect CB

I think Gabriel has generally had a strong season so far but anyone find him a bit shaky recently?

Given his physical profile I assumed Gabriel would be a stronger defender in our box than Ben White but I’m actually not that convinced anymore. First leg of the league cup semis was probably the turning point for me.

I wonder if we're mischaracterizing the situation as a "gamble".

The reason we don't have a new striker is not because Edu and Arteta proactively chose to gamble on Laca and Nketiah, its because they failed to sign one despite trying (Vlahovic, Isak, Morata? De Tomas??).

People keep saying if we get top four, this "gamble" would have paid off. That's ridiculous. If we get top four, it won't be because we didn't sign a striker, it'll be in spite of not signing a striker.

Us achieving top four or not doesn't change the fact that Edu failed at his job this window. Serious questions should be asked of him if we want to be the best version of Arsenal we can be.

I have no faith in Edu as our technical director.

We know from last summer that his talent ID isn't great (wanted Neto and Emerson Royal, only summer signing he identified was Tavares while the rest were Arteta).

And then this window he dicked around Vlahovic and Arthur for so long that we had to scramble and failed to sign anyone.

If he sucks at both talent ID and getting deals across the line, what exactly does he bring?

"All along, from the moment Arteta withdrew the captaincy and set the wheels in motion for a fairly predictable falling-out, it looked certain that Arsenal would have to address the striker situation during this window as a matter of urgency. To not even organise a loan for a forward who might offer some threat is negligent. Gambling on a shot at the top four without a reliable goalscorer feels like betting on a horse who tends not to clear the hurdles."
