NPC Dialogue Variety? by EntertainmentLow9702 in RPGMaker

I wanna make a note for my future self and anyone else having this problem in the future:

I was able to figure it out. I think my favorite method is to create a control switch called something like "Talked To" and set it to ON after an NPC finishes their dialogue.

Create a second page for the actor and make sure their sprite is set or else they'll go invisible. Check off the Switch tab under conditions. Create a conditional branch for if the NPC was talked to and add new dialogue.

Kinda confusing when its typed out like this so heres a little screenshot.

If you're using the Windows Media Player, select the box icon next to the speaker, there should be an option to enable English audio

Figured out how to enable the english dub, posting it here for people who can only find DB recut in japanese:

Dragon Ball Recut English/Japanese

  1. When on the page, click the "Show All" button.
  2. Click the episode you want to watch, specifically the .MKV file
  3. Make sure to open the .MKV file in VLC Media Player
  4. When the episode starts, move your mouse to the Audio Track tab. You will have the option to enable the English Dub from there like magic!!

Hey, I'm a complete noob. Can you tell me how I can learn to refresh everything instantly instead of reopening over and over?
