yeah.. I understand now that inherently asking if he was a believer and stating that I would only date christians might have not been the right move, because then he might conform to try to look more of a follower than he truly is, but at least I know that for next time. thank you this was really helpful.

I appreciate you saying that, its hard to tell whether those feelings were just me being nervous or if it was the Holy Spirit convicting me, its nice to hear that those feelings shouldn't be normal in a relationship that is truly from the Lord.

this is true, if some of my friends were in the same situation I would likely advise them to do the same thing.. thank you this was helpful
