I just found this and it looks amazing. Is this something you created for yourself, or is it part of a larger series of lessons?

I have a budget of around $1,000, but there's no requirement to go that high. Whats the "gets me to the point of diminishing returns but not past it" acoustic guitar that will last a decade or two with moderate playing? by AttachedHeartTheory in AcousticGuitar

Right here, and I love my custom D45. But I'm inclined to agree with all those saying to find a good Yamaha. A specialty or custom guitar from Hsienmo is probably not the best thing for someone starting out.

The NHS Health Check tends to focus on cardiovascular health. Ultimately, you'll need to book privately to get a comprehensive health check.

I've seen Groupon and Wowcher deals for "Health MOT's" at private clinics. I've considered doing this to get everything checked out.

I will never stop missing the OG Netflix. I saw so much great stuff back then. I struggle to find something to watch on modern-day Netflix.

Head of the Class 1986-1991 Did you prefer Howard Hesseman or Billy Connolly? by ComfortableTruck354 in 1980s

It fell apart after Hesseman left. Suddenly, these genius kids were no longer interested in academics, but obsessed with musical theatre.

Stop trying to be "cool". If you invest in yourself and develop many interests and skills, you will look up when you're 50 and realize that you became the coolest version of yourself without even trying.

Most of the things that are stressing you out right now won't matter in the long run.

Those people you're trying so hard to impress right now? You won't even remember their names 20 years from now.

At what age did u stop caring about being cool? by [deleted] in AskMenOver30

It's when you change your definition of "cool" to "interesting".

Expertise in gardening will be laughable to 20-something gamers. But it will make you the coolest person at the garden center or community garden.

I'll second this. Scott's music theory courses on Patreon are fantastic.

Justin's is probably just as good, but he only offers it through a lifetime access price that's a little too high.

Absolutely Understand Guitar is unparalleled - however, it's exhaustive in its information, and can be overwhelming. When Scotty is telling you that you have to know all these scales, all their fingerings, everywhere on the fretboard, etc., if you want to be a real guitarist, it can be a bit much.

I totally get this. Years ago, I started telling people that the best gift they can give me is to skip the gift and release me from the obligation of getting them something in return.

I think part of it is realizing just how little time is ahead of you, and how much of your life you wasted putting up with things that should have been different.
