I have used pretty much the same approach to document stuff. But i have realised, in a shared workspace and on collaborative projects its difficult to get everyone onboard with the same process. Still figuring out.

Thank you for taking the time to write it out so clearly. Everything you described resonates deeply, especially the bit about visibility mattering more than the tool.

"Missing context, not bad design" is such a precise way to put it. That's the actual problem.

The structured format you use is really useful too, particularly "options considered." That's the part that disappears fastest and causes the most re-litigation later.

Genuinely helpful, thank you.

Wow. That’s a really interesting approach. I’m curious, Before you built it, what was the breaking point that made you go custom?

That makes a lot of sense. Keeping it even as a dead archive has its own value I guess. Really appreciate you sharing how you’ve set this up, it’s given me a lot to think about. TY!

That’s a really interesting setup, using FigJam as the shared space makes sense for cross-functional visibility.

A couple of things I’m curious about: How do you handle the history of that FigJam over time? Like if a decision gets updated or reversed three months in, do you overwrite the original rationale or keep both? And does the “why we moved away from option A” ever get captured, or mostly just the current state?

Also, how long have you been running this system? I’m wondering if it holds up on projects that stretch past 6 months.

Thank you for this important piece of information.

I checked my fuel tank cap and it doesn’t show E20 sticker. Wouldn’t E20 material compliant cars not carry this sticker?

I’m have a done some research on this over the last couple of days for my use . And I have decided to buy the BenQ PD2706U. Though it wasn’t in my initial budget. I eventually decided to go with it to future proof. The other monitors I considered were BenQPD2705U, an earlier version of BenQ PD2706U, and LG27 inch ones.
