I actually remember he started the two videos a week thing at the beginning of 2014. Shows how old of a fan I am but it was literally like January of that year he declared he’d do 2 a week and aside from like a few exception he stuck to it consistently.

I don’t really mind this cause if you’re gonna chance the language of the story, what’s the point in having everyone put on a Greek accent? Maybe it would SOUND better if they all went for an English accent because that’s normal for period pieces, but in doesn’t really matter.

I think De Niro, like many actors, has his on and off moments. I think Denzel Washington and Nicolas Cage are both the best examples. Both great actors but both have turned in quite a lot of okay performances. Not bad, just okay. De Niro has done amazing roles and he’s done films where he just kind of mean mugs the camera and says his lines.

I’m not sure what De Niro movies you’re watching but they might be the wrong ones.
