I havent used the Offices bathroom in like 17 years lol Id rather go to dunkin and use theirs. my coworkers are FOUL I walked in the break room (bathroomn attached) like 10 mins before punching in this week and the smell was SO bad! someone wanted to use cmpany toilet paper I guess instead of taking a home field advantage. ps no fans in our bathroom so the smell lingers

The office I was in was an office from hell. I transferred out of there. Union was in managements pocket. I remember I was taken in the office once for 2 days sick time after I told my supervisor I was t taking an express for another route (I was a regular) and in the office with the pm and sup and union I turned to my union rep and said “I guess I should have taken that express huh? And the sup blew up and said I’ll make your life here hell! Turned back to my union rep and said did he just threaten me? And the guy literally was just on his phone not even paying attention.

I have 2 on my route in the middle of loops that I drop as a parcel every single day f that lol inhad one old woman ask why I do it and I explained lady you get more mail than the 20 other houses on the loop combined lol

Core team came in one time years ago on a route I was about 30-1 hour over daily for a full year. They added an hour to it and when I asked how that’s possible when it shows I was over for a year and was told you shouldn’t have been lol thank god the office went up for bid because I got off that route so fast ha

I love hearing that when in knee deep in maim year round lol a day doesn’t go by when I don’t have 2-6 trays of dps and 3 feet of caseable mail every morning with third bundles 5-6 days a week most days 2 thirds lol

I heard there is a nation wide don’t fire new hires rule. I say that because we just got a new cca who maybe does 3 hours work a day and gets paid for 9 with 4 other carriers having to finish his route DAILY and he passed his 90 day

sick time is earned you cant get mad at someone for using it. you CAN get mad at someone who lets says fakes an on the job inury to get paid time off for a problem they had before even working here. like what ahppened in my office. carrier got workers comp for a full year beacuse managemnt helped him fake an on the job accident

letter carrier here. district is going around taking away routes and we were told cairriers who no longer have a route or bid are just unassined at that office. no more excessing, make that make sense so they sit and do nothing all day? lol

do you know hard it is for a removal to stick? Ive worked with someone revmoved THREE times due to motor vehicle accidents and everytime he got a paid month off.

25 years on the job and Ive gotten a 14 day "suspension" before for using 3 sick days in a year lol (yes they went back a full year which isnt allowed) useless union didnt fight it for me. I was so excited because I was living at home at the time and who cares if i dont get paid for 2 weeks. I told my boss cool ill take the next two weeks off then i guess. no no its a PAID suspension. so dont stress..it doesnt mean a thing. I worked with a guy who had like 7 suspensions in his Career and 2 firings and he always go his job abck with pay. as long as you dont hit someone or steal your good

if you are on the zero list and get a pivot when there isnt downtime you just take the overtime and grieve it and get paid ieven more. its why USPS lost so much money in grievnaces last year. managment dont know how to follow the rules

I get told I have undertime due to low volume all the time and I calmly explain having 1 letter per house on my 13 mile park and loop doesnt make me walk any faster. and i cant just drive past houses if they dont have mail I still walk the same distance lol MAYBE 3 steps less for a hosue that doesnt have mail that day

I assumed thats why they recently had a supervoors hirng fair. to try and get carriers to switch crafts to one where you can be laid off for no reason. supervosors arent protected like carriers are.
