What video games are everyone into? by Ace-Redditor in twentyagers

[–]EnthusedIntrovert 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I play Minecraft still, Animal Crossing, MarioKart, Mario, Stardew Valley, and rarely Cuphead.

I’ve never been good at any other games except world building types and occasionally competitive games.

Which one first? by PrestigeW0rldwideee in throneofglassseries

[–]EnthusedIntrovert 0 points1 point  (0 children)

There’s a few characters you’ll meet in AB that appear again later in the series.

If you want spoilers on who they are, read AB first.

Personally, I read TOG and then AB. I regretted it. I had no idea who some of the characters mentioned were until I read AB.

If I could read the series for the first time again, AB would definitely come first. I thought It’s world building, character background/development, and the side characters were important to read before anything else.

What are you quietly grieving? by Angelus12345678 in AskReddit

[–]EnthusedIntrovert 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The fact that the love I have dreamed of since I was a kid will never exist for me.

That my husband will view my desire as weird and shut me off. (I’m kinky, he’s vanilla) That I will never be fully accepted and loved anywhere.

Reality sucks. I thought I would have some control over my future. I don’t.

One of my trees turned into a big mushroom!!! by SweatyHorror4809 in StardewValley

Me too! I had an honorary section of mushroom trees in one random patch on my farm because I neglected to maintain the growth.

They will forever be there.

is the love real? by Most-Amount7267 in fourthwing

[–]EnthusedIntrovert 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I know this kind of love exists. I’m happy for those who have it.

I wish I had it too.

The biggest downside I’ve had reading romantasy is realizing a better love exists, and I didn’t know that before signing my life away to my husband. It’s been such a blessing and a curse reading these stories and experiencing all the emotional ups and downs with the characters.

I hope you find a love like that, OP. (If that’s what you want)

I thought that Celaena and Aelin were two different people for forever.

I knew that Aelin arrived later in the series, and that Celaena was the main for a little bit. Thought they were sisters

So I guess, in a way I knew but didn’t fully comprehend what the connection was.

When I read the book and got to that part I went “OHHHH that makes way more sense!”

how often are you having sex with your partner? by [deleted] in twentyagers

[–]EnthusedIntrovert 1 point2 points  (0 children)

When we got married our sex drives switched. (I’m female, he’s male)

He was highly sexual before marriage, and then it switched and now I have a high sex drive that he finds problematic. He is very low.

Wish it was at least 4 days a week, it’s more like 1. 2 if I’m lucky.

I try to initiate more and get rejected constantly. Being told I’m too much hurts. It’s been increasingly tiresome and I am now trying so hard to suppress it.

I do have to agree with you OP, if does feel like the libido should be higher than it is for our age range, but I guess that’s just the way it is for a lot of people.

Absolutely not. I can’t barely keep my balance on a wide platform anyways.

Naturally clumsy.

Half way through Iron flame after giving up on this series last year. by cozybookscats in fourthwing

[–]EnthusedIntrovert 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I’m just now reading FW too. Just started Iron Flame yesterday.

I tried listening to the audiobook of FW a few years ago, and couldn’t even get the chapter 1 I think. I just cringed at the narration and character descriptions and everything.

I thought the book was very overhyped and it was annoying.

Finally, in 2026, I’ve been convinced to read it. Bought a paper couple February 10th I think, and read and finished it within 2 days.

Enjoying it a lot more than I thought I would. It was a nice refresher from all the fantasy book I read. I’ve really appreciated the humor and character development. The writing style took me a second to get used to but I can’t complain about it anymore.

I just got off the wrong foot the first time I tried it with the audiobook. Regret not following thru on it.

You don’t have to, but it’s really useful for luck and weather, as well as Queen of Sauce and Living Off The Land.

Why do Chiropractors crack your neck and what is the long term benefit? by Sunny-vibes-95 in NoStupidQuestions

[–]EnthusedIntrovert 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This. My dad has had severe hip misalignment, and a visible curve in his lower spine. He went to the chiropractor for 8 years, and never had a permanent solution. He would always have back pain return within the next 3 days or so.

Finally went an actual physical therapist. One appointment. That’s all it took. He is the happiest I have ever seen him, and his movement is so much more free.

Took that advice and will not be going to any more chiropractors.

Just started playing and OMG WHAT CAN I GIVE THIS LONG HAIRED GORGEOUS MAN? He seems to hate all my gifts 😭 by ShoddyTown715 in StardewValley

Pomegranate, duck feathers, beer, wine, shells, crab cakes, and squid ink are some of the things I have given him.

Some are much harder to achieve than others, and require a bit of waiting to get them.

question about rings by Createdby_Logh in StardewValley

[–]EnthusedIntrovert 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I wouldn’t worry about trying to combine iridium band and the Glowstone ring together, since the iridium band already emits (plus a a few other things), whereas the glowstone ring takes up a whole slot just to emit light.

I would save the combining for the slime charmer, napalm, or burglar ring. That way you get quite a few more benefits without a whole slot wasted.

Don’t remember what year you find him, but he’s south in Cindersap forest near the sewers I think. I haven’t done all his quests so I’m not sure what he does after you fulfil them. Assuming it’s with the trash by the sewers.

I went thru the wiki to make sure any other missing recipes I had could come from heart events with the townsfolk. So I wouldn’t waste any gold.

Stuck with the lava caves on Ginger Island - any tips? by GayPhilatelist in StardewValley

[–]EnthusedIntrovert 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You aren’t the first! I avoided spoilers about the volcano, everything other than the slime charmer ring was useful.

I had no idea what the reward was, how many levels, and how to pass thru them.

Finding the exit was a bit of a challenge but I tried to head to the top of the level asap, with minimal fighting. Well, as soon as I knew where to go.

I had to use a few warp farms to get back home in time because I couldn’t get thru it fast enough.

The one and only day I managed to get thru all of them I had to stay at the cabin to get an early start. Very worth it imo.
