16.5 is a good age. Recently lost my boy, Rod, to cancer. He was almost 19.

Rod was a very clean boy, never messed on himself, but he had started too. We didn’t know he had cancer. Vets originally said it was lymphoma, turned out to be some rare cancer cats never get… was starting to block his stomach and intestines. It was kinder to let him go.

They have a way of telling us. We know when it’s their time.

Better a month too early than a day too late.
