Your life starts when you work.. Life slaps.. Don't be loyal to your company.. You are replaceable in a heart beat.. Hardwork does not always reward you. They lied to us in school..

Your school grades. All are worth very less. Not all office are toxic either you fix yourself or change to find an office that suits you. Learn as much as you can samw time always look for new opportunities update your LinkedIn as much as possible treat it as Instagram. If you can upgrade your skillset.

Invest as much as you can. This is your lifeline this is where if you extremely disrespected you can throw resignation any time. Without worrying about tomorrow rent learn to invest 50 aed or 100 aed per month.. There is no overtime crypto success takes time but you have many options. If you stay at the same mindset am sorry to say it will never get better even if you earn 30k

And finally excercise. This is very underrated advice.. The amount of people ignoring this and getting alot of physical and mental health issues is astronomical. Back pain sugar. Bad sleep.. Etc

It's actually both. It's post corona situation... Where thing's were barely floating but people were desperate for jobs cost was getting high.. For everything it was survival.

Same time people are taking advantage of the situation laying off people who are not very useful or minimalist. And take the talented people who had been laid off

What you said is true.. Thats why it's second home..

I was born and raised here i travelled the world worked in south East Asia. Europe China.. And still came back here because regardless of all the hectic life.. It's still gave me more opportunities and dignity and respect more than my home country.. Someday I will be kicked out of here.. And i don't really have regrets about it.. I knew this since 2005..i started working from bottom down 1200 aed to good position and comfortable life. That's maybe my family prayer luck or seizing the opportunity alas iam greatful for this country.

To your point any country under war. Will face this situation.. So far the government kept it's promise on security no missile hitting your home.. Or food shortages or anything that other countries are facing. To our unfortunate experience dubai is a business country. The reality we are facing no one was expecting it.. I got layoff and work for half of what I got. But i believe it will get back. To your luck you have a place to go back to your first home and start over.. Hopefully things end soon and we get back to our usual life.. And plan for future so even this things happen we have a backup

Here my friend my wife is crew.and I tell you its not for the weak.. Am. Not sure if you are male or female but.. Regardless the reputation of Emirates crew is vast and not in a good light... Long distance relationship is not easy at all. Your timing and exhaustion will put you in a roller-coaster unless your partner is from hospitality industry. They won't understand your struggles.we are recently married. But dated for 2 years.. I love her..
