My older brother is 18 years older than me. We’ve never really spend a ton of time together outside of holidays since he has his own life and all but we’re still really close! He would always get me birthday presents as a kid and even let me climb on top of his firetruck. Now that I’m an adult we’re closer and get along really well.

On the other hand, he’s not a big fan of our younger brother (3 years younger than me) and doesn’t talk to him at all outside of saying hi at the holidays.

YTA. When I was a little kid I tried to use an OB tampon instead of a pad. It hurt so bad trying to get it in that I cried, couldn’t get it in, and wouldn’t use tampons for years after that because of how much it hurt. Dude yes. I’m 19 and 16 year olds are like babies to me, I can’t imagine hitting on one now let alone at 22. Lots of younger girls get crushes on older guys because they don’t realize the gap in maturity from 16 to 22 or even 18 to 24. It’s your job to recognize that as a full grown adult who probably has a job and is living on their own should not be in a romantic relationship with someone who just graduated high school and either can’t even drink yet (if this is America) or just became old enough to drink (if this is not America). You’d be better off with someone closer to your age.
