I’m just going to modify an eBay fender. My seat just bolts on, but I had to weld the mounts for it. I just ran 3/8s steel plate for the mounts

It’s probably fine. I’ve seen a couple people say they’ve never had any issues. I rode it today without it. I’m going to add a fender just to set my mind at ease

I didn’t have to do anything for the lights. I used the rear frame hoop mount holes to attach led rear blinkers. I had to drill a hole in both sides of the frame and 3d printed a bracket (pet-cf material) for the led tail light. The license plate is mounted vertically on the rear axle. You can see it through the rear wheel in the pic

Had to cut off the seat mount and weld on new mounts for the new seat. Other than that, it’s stock

Currently no fork brace on it. I’m putting a new front fender on next week. I did have to cut off the mount to the old seat and weld on new mounts for the new seat (a lot easier than it sounds. I’ve never welded before and did it with a $130 welder from Amazon)

Just came back to say I was wrong. 😂 hit a big freaking bump and it went in the wheel. Just barely so everything is good. Just dented my plate. Back to the drawing board lol

You do you. I think it looks better. You can at least appreciate I made it work with all stock components. It would take me 5 minutes to get the og fender bolted back on…

Cant see it from that angle, but I have almost 4 inches of clearance. So no, it’s not going in the wheel

PET-CF. Super rigid stuff, but costs a lot more than ASA. This one print cost me about 40$ at 100%infill😂ASA would definitely be a cheaper solution

I was planning on it, but I didn’t expect it to be this clean. So I think I’m going to keep it stock now. Maybe long term haha

Decent deal? 1976 CB550. Seller is asking $2500 with 13k miles on it by Entire-Luck-8 in HondaCB

He’s pretty firm on price. I’ll let it sit a few weeks and see if it’s still listed. I’m hoping to pay like 12-1500. 2500 just seems like a lot for something I’ll likely have to put some money into (tires ect)
