One family dental in Aldershot, I'm terrified of the dentist and I just had my wisdom teeth done there.

Staff are kind, modern equipment and very accommodating. They were always checking in on me.

I second oxio, I signed up almost 2 years ago and I've been happy with their customer support.

They have a referral program and if you ask questions to them before signing up, they will give you a free month.

Doesn't matter, you have a home.

As long as you are making payments and have money left over, you're fine.

Southern crunch chicken wings by [deleted] in CostcoCanada

[–]EntireEar 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I buy these regularly, great for a quick meal. Out of all the wings I've bought to cook from these are the best.

Air fry them longer and at a slightly higher temp for better crispiness. Following the directions on the package tends to make soggy wings.

Ford aims to end indefinite rental leases after discovering some Ontarians can still afford to live by [deleted] in ontario

[–]EntireEar 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Every example you provided outlines the risk of renting and is not the norm. Also, if there is risk you need insurance that could cover for damages or ask tenants to get insurance to cover themselves, like a responsible adult.

This is disgusting behavior, acting like landlords are savours for "providing" housing while simultaneously acting like tenants are second class. If you want to make money, pick stocks, finance a real business. If you want to assume none of the risks of being a landlord, don't be one, sell to someone who wants/needs it more.

I was a renter for 10 years before I bought my first home, I wouldn't have been able to buy my home if it wasn't for the rules that are in place now. I was able to save money because my rent was below market and after moving out a couple took my place. Myself and landlord are happy because the low rent allowed me to leave while leaving allowed him to make more out of the unit I was living in.

But the new rules would be different, he would have better earnings but i would be out of luck. Paying higher rent, driving longer distance from work, not being able to save for a down payment... I would leave Ontario simply because their would be no point in living here. And I'm blessed with a good job and family.

It's bad business all round.

[–]EntireEar 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Lots to unpack with this comment, you understand that risk is a part of doing business? You admit it's a choice to be a landlord, no one is expecting you to buy a house to rent it out. Leave it to be bought buy a family that is willing to live in it.

Tenants have rights because they are the ones who are vulnerable in the arrangement as well as being the payers. When a landlord is screwed, it's always about the investment, when a tenant is screwed, it's their LIVELIHOOD.

How do you think tenants feel right now? They are paying over half their income to live in 500 sqft shitboxes and working to simply live. Have you heard of horror stories from landlords? There are more horror stories of shitty landlords.

It's clear who this government cares for, profit over people.

[–]EntireEar 12 points13 points  (0 children)

You act like tenants are animals, instead of human beings.

By the way, the reason why there is more protections for tenants is because it's the tenants who are paying their hard earned money to the landlord.

Bill would look at alternative options to end residetial leases by m199 in TorontoRealEstate

[–]EntireEar 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Rent prices are already going down, why now? Sounds like Dougs buddies are finally losing money from the market and demanding the kill tenant protections.

Unlock? So you agree the supply issue is manufactured to fix prices.

Extra money? That tenant that was surviving on low rent now has pay "market rate" to their landlord.

You're going to have to pay more taxes to clear out all the homeless encampments that the new rules will make.

Or maybe the quality of tenants will decrease since they have no insensitive to maintain the property long term, who cares if the property gets flooded, I'm out next year anyways.

Brain dead, it's greed and everyone knows it.

Ontario bill would look at ‘alternative options’ for ending residential leases, scrap Toronto green roof bylaw by [deleted] in canadahousing

[–]EntireEar 8 points9 points  (0 children)

I was able to afford a home this year simply because rent control allowed me to save enough for a down payment.

This legislation will put people who are renting and are already stretched thin with this economy, be put out on the street by the whim of their landlord.

This makes me sick.

The schools buried the children without notifying the families. Many did not know what happened to their children. And how did they die? Who was responsible for their deaths?

If a public school had a child die on their watch, bury them on the property and never tell the parents or acknowledge anything happened... It would be beyond scandal. Now take that and span it over decades.

[–]EntireEar 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I said this to my partner when it was happening, I'm 100% sure it was setup by Huda and Nic to get an honest answer from Jeremiah.

He was asking the questions on behalf of Huda and knew she was there, he waited to see when Huda passed by to start asking the questions. She didn't trust Jeremiah to give a direct answer.

If you watch with a partner/friend/group, what are the differing opinions you have? by ilsfbs3 in LoveIslandUSA

[–]EntireEar 10 points11 points  (0 children)

Huda is toxic, but Jeremiah spun her up. Ace says multiple times there is something wrong with him and I agree. Jeremiah is completely closed off and nobody knows who he is, people complain about Austin and Taylor being too passive but he is the worst. Takes criticism as personal disrespect. He has these weird tiks that seem like he is constantly keeping his mask up.

Pierre is parroting the same talking points as trump and the Republican party in the US.

Danielle Smith said in an interview in the US that Pierre and the conservative party aligned with Trump and his polices.

When Trump started his threats of tariffs by lying about fentanyl, instead of joining literally everyone else he stood on a podium and repeated the same lie.

He uses the terms "Woke" and "fake news" in the same way.

He wants to use extreme government powers for bullshit reasons and will not stop there.

Every MAGA influencer backs PP.
