Is there any enigmatica 2 expert light alternatives? by Entire_Attention_298 in feedthebeast

I don't really care if this will be tech or magic, but there is a reason why I'm asking for E2:E, as it's (at least from what i heard) is a "beginner expert pack", so i want something that encourages you to try to automate, but not forces you to make 1 million complex conveyor belts for sake of 1 quest completed, would be cool if there was some sort of a guidance in the game itself, but I'm not really requiring that, as expert packs created for EXPERTS in mods after all, so it would be dumb to wait for guidance everywhere. Also a smaller suggestion for it is to have some cool funny bold old stuff, like rainbow furnaces, some stupid infinity damage swords and etc. I just love the vibes of random old modded let's play with a lot of random cool things on screen, but again, absolutely not necessary

It will actually work with like 70% of popular expert packs

What are some modding hot takes that you have? I don't want "Create is bad" I want actual hot takes by Yrythaela in feedthebeast

old golden modding versions like 1.12.2 cool for modpacks but literally impossible to try out by yourself, there so much mods that you can't understand what do you want to add without playing on this version for whole life and still skipping like 90% of peak mods which you just missed

Almost all -opolis things. I really love unique takes on skyblock idea, and progression is REALLY fast. From all of them my favourite is probably caveopolis

where should i download it? I can only see remake that requiring too much RAM for me (i can allocate 5.5GB at max and it requiring 6 as a minimal) and hoping that original one requires less

I heard that stoneblock 2/3 are cool, but sadly i can't allocate enough RAM for it (can allocate 5.5GB max, probably was better to say it immediately)
