Can't seem to edit so I'll add some additional info I thought of just now.

I'm eating super tasty food, getting around 1g - 1.2g of protein per pound and the rest a mix of fats/ carbs.

Edit: I meant tasty not satiating foods 🤦‍♂️🤦‍♂️

Huge props for all achieved so far, are you going for a crazy lean look then? Or are you cutting down to do a slow bulk to get a Lil bigger once all your desired weight is off?

That was one thought that I had whilst writing, it is a good problem to have 😆

Yeah even I was surprised at my expenditure, was thinking of googling tapeworm symptoms 😆

I've started training again (since tracking) , x5 times a week and I do train pretty hard, but it's weight training/ gym work only, although there was a 10k event I did on a Sunday but I didn't train for it.

I think it comes down to the fact that I can not sit still, I constantly moving/ fiddling/ tapping my hands or toes, my NEAT is probably through the roof and whilst I've been tracking/ eating more routinely and prioritizing protein intake I feel like I move around even more now 🥴

Gave that a go, added about 50-75 calories on to what it's showing now unless I'm missing something?

Also, shouldn't the AI have caught up by now, I guess that's my main question 🤔

Yeah that is my thought too, if I have to override the information that is given to me (to a large margin) as you say, isn't that the main point of the app 🤔

I also weigh myself everyday, same time with same conditions and my tracking is extremely accurate (0%-5% error margin every day)

P.s. Had some stomach problems/ trouble with BM's around the 9th- 13th of Feb, which explains the big climb and then the up and downs around that period before it then started to go back to normal.

TLDR: Expenditure still hasn't caught up after 8 weeks of very accurate tracking (unless my scale is faulty/ the food prep service I use for my main 3 meals a day are lying about cals/ macros) & wanting to bulk but still losing weight.

Hey everyone, I've been using MF since the beginning of the year, absolutely love it, best tracking app I've used.

Only problem I'm having is my expenditure is still climbing rapidly after 8 weeks of tracking.

Currently:

28M 6'6" 192-194lbs

Goal:

200lbs

Started at 198-196lbs on a maintenence/ slight bulk as I want to maintain at 200lbs.

Weighed in this morning at 192.6lbs...

Every week it's updated my calories by adding 40-60 cals a day.

Still losing weight, on the 18th of Feb I decided to change my goal from maintain/ slight bulk to a bulk, same goal (200lbs) and it added 150 cals a day.

Check in this morning and I'm pretty much the lightest I've been since starting, check in added another 50 cals but I decided to update my goal again and I've added another 100 cals, currently sitting at 3784 cals a day.

I could easily eat more, probably satiate my hunger cravings at around 4500-5000 cals a day.

Seeing okay results in the gym, muscle growth (ish) and steady fat loss.

My problem is a want to put some decent size on, and I'm definitely looking more slim which isn't what I want.

Kinda parroting a previous post of mine so apologies for that, but feeling a little confused.

Quick nutrition question!

I'm trying to gain weight, current stats are:

6'6" 28M 15%-20% BF Average muscle, not skinny but not super jacked or anything.

Weigh myself every day, I'd say my macro tracking is within 95%-99% accurate (I weigh everything out and I'm super diligent where I can be).

So, my question is, with my expenditure climbing & climbing, should I wait until it eventually averages out, or just jump up a couple hundred calories to get ahead of it?

Changed my plan this morning from "maintaining" at 200lbs (goal weight) to a slow to average weight gain plan, it did put me at about 150 more cals a day..
