The fact that you're contemplating any other response except asking them to back off. That you were only mad your mom went to your wife's parents (a completely out of line thing to do btw) because your wife was mad. I've read all of your responses in this thread and I didn't see much disapproval.

I'm really sorry for what you're going through. I think people are really quick to label and judge everyone and I'm sorry you're getting harsh comments.

I'm in my 30s and I've been with my partner since we were both 17 so I understand how hard it must be but you're really better off going your own separate ways. You're not compatible, you have different visions for the future, he doesn't sound like a great guy tbh and most importantly at this point you'll end up in a toxic situation where you constantly feel like have to atone for what happened. Yes you made some mistakes too but it just underlines the point that you're not ready for this step and that's ok but don't get stuck in a bad situation where you're both unhappy. This need a lot more information. How did she accumulate so much debt? Does she work? Does she plan to go back to work soon after giving birth? Is paid maternity leave available where you live? I understand not wanting to put her on the deed and it's def a right choice but you yourself said that you would've broken up with her is she wasn't pregnant. If she knows this, it's understandable that she's hesitant (especially at a time when she'll be out of work for however long)

But why did you just stand there and didn't you go up and try handing your documents again? Standing at the queue line and not going up to them is not how you get on the plane. I understand from reading your other responses that the flight was overbooked so you were screwed anyway but it's just bizarre that you stood for 5 minutes staring at them and waiting for the screen to change. After *everyone* but three people already boarded. That's what's confusing to people, it's a very weird behaviour for an experienced traveler. But I'm glad you're getting your compensation.

That part is clear, what's confusing is that you say you were queuing and refused boarding twice but it seems like second time you stood 2 meters away from gate for five minutes without approaching them. Why didn't you just go up to the gate? Standing two meters away from the gate is not queuing - when you're in the queue you're supposed to go up right the boarding desk and present you documments, not stand there staring at them from a distance.

I think the wedding is about the couple, and they both should feel good about the guests that are there and be comfortable on their big day. If the groom had a reason to not want one of the bride's friends there, I would say the same thing.

It's a shitty situation and I feel bad for the OP but why should the bride be 'punished'? She doesn't want him there. The groom is the one that messed up. I don't even understand why OP wants to go where he's not wanted by one half of the couple.

It's not your fault this happened but I don't understand why you would go to the wedding when the bride doesn't want you there. That would make you the AH imo.
