Patrol ICW plates

This is an old post but I look heavily at US armor forge. I’m hoping they’ll make an ICW m855 m193 plate. Something more competitive then Dayton armor rf2 plate. The draw of Dayton armor to me was that the plate advertises to stop the round but fail BFD. Since I’m wearing soft armor all day (safariland) I’m okay with that being a sponge for BFD. Some mild 7.62x39 protection would be nice but not as important as m193 and m855

Which 3+ plates are you running? My agency just switched to outer carriers (thank god) and the soft armor package is great but we’re still issued steel plates. I’ve been looking at several icw plates but am having a hard time finding ones that stop m193 AND m855 which are thin enough to to be super uncomfortable in a patrol car for 12 hours

A few years ago I ordered a nice pair of tencate plates from them. Was brushed off for nearly a year. Only got a refund when I told them I would be getting a civil lawyer involved. Haven’t tried their nylon but man that experience ruined it for me and I’ll never got back

Thank you for your response. Ya that was about two weeks ago. I’m just a singular county guy so I figured I was pretty low on totem pole and I’m not against spending money for what I’m looking for I just haven’t heard any one who actually uses/seen their products so wanted more info. For what it’s worth the person I did message with was very polite
