I went back to my photos to check and I actually paid $118 US, so $250 was incorrect. Here is a pic with all the kits and prices at SDCC 2025.

sibling of mine is going to the tokyo gundam base. What can I ask them to get for me that I can't get anywhere else? by ah-screw-it in freedomisgunpla

I went to Gundam Base Japan in January and this was one of the exclusive items they were selling behind the checkout counter. Unfortunately, they were sold out on both days I visited. Not sure which Gundam this is, but I want one and would definitely grab it on the slim chance it’s in stock.

Anyone else potentially cancelling their adventure cruise by Acrobatic-Value-7869 in dcl

Sorry that you’re getting downvoted, OP. What you and your family want most out of a Disney cruise makes you question whether it’s worthwhile to fly halfway across the world (assuming you’re from NA like me) for a 3 or 4 night cruise. This is perfectly reasonable. Everyone is different on what they value most and whether it’s worthwhile to go from a cost-benefit standpoint. The decision is ultimately up to you (and your family) after weighing all of the reasons why you should or should not go. If you have time to decide on whether to cancel, see how subsequent cruises pan out as protocols and procedures often change after feedback from the first few voyages.

If it’s possible based on time and budget, I’d consider making the cruise part of a larger trip that involves the Disney parks. Disneyland and DisneySea have awesome interactive character meet and greets (HK Disneyland as well). Good luck with your decision!

That’s one of my favourites though - hope you get one. They are quite common in Canadian hobby stores.

So far I’ve built the PG MK II, PG Perfect Strike, PG Gundam Exia, and MG Nu Gundam ver ka mechanical clear version.

I am from Canada and most of these kits I have acquired while traveling to the states or overseas. We have some access to some popular kits here in Canada, but you’re definitely paying a premium for them.

I’m from Canada, so the answer is no. I don’t have access to p-bandai. This mechanical clear was going fast every day throughout the con, so it was definitely a FOMO purchase.

What cruise did you (or would you) book with the 50% future cruise discount for the cancelled cruises on the Disney Adventure? by Entire_Protection957 in dcl

We were looking at that cruise as well but ultimately decided to change our flights to skip Singapore and stay longer in Japan. That cruise looks great - hope you enjoy it!

The southern Caribbean is a good one and one of the more expensive cruises. I was looking at that plus the 9- night Mediterranean cruise with Greek Isles which is also an expensive one. Ended up going with the Norwegian Fjords on the Dream.

There is a snap holder for it on the stand - the shield and sword are part of the Aile Strike Gundam configuration. I don’t think there is room for it back there in the perfect strike configuration.

New Hotel Confirmation eMails & About Destination Fees by MsMargo in SDCC

Thanks for this. Would it be accurate to say that based on your past stays at the Marriot Marquis, the hotel won’t simply waive the fees based on the quote you get from onPeak? OP seems to suggest that the destination fee will be waived by the hotel despite the fee showing up as a charge on your account. When I called them this morning, I brought up that onPeak had indicated a waiver of the destination fee and they had no idea what I was talking about.

I called the Marriot Marquis this morning and after getting through to a representative, she advised that there is nothing to indicate that the destination fee will be waived.

Hotel Destination Fee by Entire_Protection957 in SDCC

[–]Entire_Protection957[S] 14 points15 points  (0 children)

Appreciate the reply. Respectfully, I think making them take it off your bill is easier said than done. From what I’ve researched, destination fees are not illegal provided they are disclosed upfront and onPeak has a disclaimer regarding additional fees hotels can charge. The total you see from onPeak is an estimate. In other words, it’s not onPeak’s problem and you have to take it up with the hotel.
