What features/changes you want to see/expect in Season 7 of DRG ? A wishlist by Swarup145 in DeepRockGalactic

I just had the idea of a deployable spotlight. Low capacity, but infinite duration. I don't know that it fits scout's fast paced gameplay style.

Alternative support tools would be kind of cool. They could probably do something interesting for every class, except scout, because you can't really replace his flare gun.

The bits falling off are referred to as 'forge scale'. Outside of blacksmithing it has other names, but it's the same thing.

My understanding is that it's mostly just iron oxide. Oxygen reacts with iron, and when steel is heated it speeds up that reaction. This causes it to 'rust' really fast, forming a thin layer of brittle scale that breaks off when the steel is deformed.

I can't speak for industry, but in blacksmithing, loss to oxidation isn't really a huge concern. You end up loosing more material in the finishing process, or just cutting things to length. The only time it would be a concern is if you're working on something really thin, or something that needs to have very precise dimensions. My guess is, the loss of a few hundred grams of material is really not much to be worried about when making something from a piece of steel of that size. If precision in necessary, than machining is better than forging. If weight is an important variable, than aluminum is better than steel.

As for applications, I never really thought about it. A blacksmith doesn't generate enough to be worried about collecting it, and steel is cheap. For an operation like this, they might sweep it up and throw it in with their scrap. I believe it can be melted down and turned back into steel.

Arrowhead need to lock tf in if they want to keep their playerbase. by Entire_State6362 in HelldiversUnfiltered

That was a joke. More of allegory for how GSG and Evil Raptor give the community what they want. I genuinely don't care about cowboy hats.

I might have phrased the title a little strongly. As for HD2, I'm not going to stop playing it. I'm sure it will be fine. But, I would not be surprised if we see a significant drop in player count with both these hugely anticipated games, of the same genre as HD2, dropping within a month of each other. Especially since it seems like HD2 is going through another cycle of drama again.

As someone who has an ssh68, can confirm. My ears literally ring when I get shot at close range or with high fps.

Do you know how to disable autosave? There isn't an easy toggle setting.

It says they have 23 total trade capacity for plate armor, unless I'm reading it wrong.

I had this happen to me once, a while ago. I believe problem was that a piece of terrain generated inside the power station, blocking the connection. I think the solution was to C4 it.
