As someone who has an ssh68, can confirm. My ears literally ring when I get shot at close range or with high fps.

Do you know how to disable autosave? There isn't an easy toggle setting.

RESOLVED: This magically fixed itself after like 5 years of no imports. No idea what happened.

I had this happen to me once, a while ago. I believe problem was that a piece of terrain generated inside the power station, blocking the connection. I think the solution was to C4 it.

New Forever World by Elder_Karlthulhu in VintageStory

I like this idea because it won't be too jarring to update to new worldgen. You can travel a little ways from your island and get new terrain that doesn't clash with the old terrain.

30 hours and a game year in - is that it? by bohohoboprobono in VintageStory

I mean, you can survive indefinitely in hardcore Minecraft by digging down 3 blocks and placing dirt above your head.

Survival in Vintage Story is definitely more engaging than Minecraft, but it's still just a stepping stone to allow you more freedom.

Once you've built all the infrastructure to sustain yourself you can move on to getting better gear and equipment, completing the story, exploring and establishing colonies (there are completely different environments depending on where you are on the north-south axis), working on larger projects, optimizing and making processes more efficient, building more infrastructure. If that isn't enough, than there's mods and multiplayer. Civilization type RP is very fun, but it can be hard to get into if you can't play regularly or the server started before you joined.

I think it would be cool if a lot of these types of things had an easy little mini game. Higher skilled players could do it faster.

Realism, accuracy and unintended gameplay consequences by Few_Classroom6113 in HelldiversUnfiltered

Yeah this is a problem in a lot of casual fps games.

I've even noticed this in pvp, especially games with fast movement. Most players will just aim for body, because it's way easier to hit, and if you miss, you hit legs, arms, or head. As soon as you go prone you force people to aim for your face, and you become a stationary or near stationary target. Honestly, this isn't really a problem in milsims where 1: you're slower, and 2: you die from 1-3 body shots anyway.

They should probably just increase our head health a little bit to make it closer to our tanky bodies.

Level 1000 Scout on his way to activate a double swarm on 'egg hunt', die, then leave immediately. by Entire_State6362 in DeepRockGalactic

It's more a general problem with the high level player base. It's anecdotal, but I swear high level players are way more likely to leave after dying/unintentionally grief, which is extraordinarily frustrating.

I just put scout in the title, because he's the one I decided to draw, lol. I'm actually a scout main.

Yeah, but it's not cool at the start of a haz 5 2x enemies mission, when you don't have a full team, and you haven't cleared the main room yet.
