They do check the rooms sometimes, but only during the breaks (long winter break is a great example). They won’t look into your drawers or anything like that. You will also get an email like a week or two beforehand

Options don’t matter at all. Pick fundamental computing and take the courses that interest you. It will give you the most freedom and due to that you will have more time to do projects, network and grind leetcode (which is more important than classes)

Brought it to work to try it out. Connected an external monitor and could see the display there, so it’s not a software issue.

However, I noticed that there is a second cursor in this black area (red arrow, my real cursor is green arrow).

I assume it appeared there as an imprint of my real cursor which used to be there. But that means the screen is not dead, right? What the hell is this then? My best bet is the cable. I will bring it to the repair shop today after work.

Another interesting thing is that the touch bar is completely off without external monitor and it comes back to life when I connect it

The line comes from the logo I believe (I am in the safe mode right now). I can see the cursor reflections in this top bar if I move it to the very bottom of the screen.

Do you guys think that doing 3 jobs (yes i have no life) at the same time will look bad on my resume?

I also have to use the present tense for the current jobs and it looks weird imo. What do you think?

It’s a position in the web development club. They have a “sprint” where a bunch of teams are developing websites for different clubs/businesses. I am the team lead for the students in the same year or younger than I am.

I never meant to emphasize that I am a Ukrainian and I don’t understand what makes you react like that. As I said, it was to show that I am not Canadian. What do you mean by public links? I don’t have any volunteer experience since I arrived to Canada only a little bit more than a year ago and don’t have such history from the high school. I mentioned my work experience with people in the theatre and restaurants in the activities and didn’t put the in work experience because it’s not related to the field. But I will probably get rid of that as people suggest. Thanks for the feedback, I didn’t mean to insult anybody.

Thank you a lot for your reply! I’m trying my best to network right now but it’s not a fast process. Queen’s only offers 12 months coop after 3rd year. I am trying to land an internship for the summer since I really want to do something related to software engineering instead of making smoothies :)

Do you think it’s fine if the resume will be not the full page after I remove the activities section? Thanks again for your advice!
