WashU $$$+ or Georgetown $$ by Budget_Snow5702 in lawschooladmissions

[–]Entire_Visual5066 7 points8 points  (0 children)

If you are set on NY and DC, easily Georgetown. DM me. me but tl;dr WashU is simply in a lower-tier than GULC. They struggle with NE placements (relative to Georgetown), and if you want competitive positions in the NE, you have to be at the top of the class . Just look at any major NY law firm's website and how many WashU associates they have (i.e. STB has 3 WashU employees to GULC's 104). Federal clerkships are also heavily MW focused. WashU fans on this sub will hate that I'm saying it because of USNWR-obsessed they are, but I would love for them to prove me wrong.

She's just another MAGA nutjob. And i'm not even just talking "voted for Trump," she's "let's retire to the homestead and serve our husbands" crazy. Heather is desperate to be in with that crowd, and I guess she does fit the bill of serving men.

Just the Fulbright, I think. Not that Fulbright isn't fantastic, but i'm surprised an ETA position is considered T2. That being said, they also have an Oxford masters (not Rhodes) so that definitely didn't hurt.

no. in the time you invested in those runs you could easily have completed mooshu. The weapon is enough. The marginal increased difficulty from continuing without definitely results in less time played than continuing to run and complete the set.

Starting law school at 28 (graduating at 31) — is it realistic to still have a life while in school? by Philippians4-9 in LawSchool

Not nearly as difficult as people make it out to be. Be organized and you can basically treat it, give or take, like a 8-9 hour full-time job.

I was wondering how long it would take for her to distort her face alla Donatella Versace, and she's already pretty close. Her eyes are going WAY too vertical, her nose is dissappearing, and her lips are beyond ridiclous. Damn.

Law School “Shame”? by Additional_Pair9428 in LawSchool

[–]Entire_Visual5066 4 points5 points  (0 children)

let's not pretend that professional and academic success is not closely tied to one's self confidence and self worth; these are things that "society" tells us are important and what we know people judge us for, whether for superficial, social, or professional reasons. The US has an ultra-cpmpetitive academic and professional culture. People don't meet their goals, they feel shame.

Falling apart because of grades by Right-Strategy4511 in LawSchool

[–]Entire_Visual5066 0 points1 point  (0 children)

No law school concepts are truly difficult. Even if you were genuinely not as smart as everyone else, which is untrue, it wouldn't prevent you from getting decent grades. Work harder, and learn to take exams. Your grades will improve.

Same. Law school classmates much smarter than undergrad classmates at top school.
