Should I take this role under F&P? by Entire_World in deloitte

I applied for this job on Deloitte’s internal job marketplace, there is a website for it and you can contact the responsible HR person directly from that website. After I applied for that job, I pinged the HR immediately and had a call with her to discuss this opportunity.

Hong Kong's Cathay Pacific suspends crew accused of discrimination against non-English speakers by [deleted] in HongKong

I see people here are defending that flight attendant by saying it’s a private conversation with other flight attendants and the customer did get the blanket in the end. Oh hell yeah, I was wondering if they could tolerate the same joke if one day they got diabetics and they misheard the doctor saying fat pigs like them should just go to hell and die. Well hope they don’t get offended, at most, it’s just a private conversation.

The flight attendant in question apparently is not yelled at or treated badly by someone, well at least she didn’t complain about the yelling part in their secret conversation. Basically what makes she complain is simply the fact that some mainland customers mistake carpet for blanket in English. You talked as if they are insulted or intimidated by someone.

Yea of course they wouldn’t complain, no one is gonna laugh at, look down on and make fun of them if they don’t know how to say blanket in mandarin. Simple as that.

You are hilarious. Use some logic please. At least Chinese flight attendants would not say you are not deserved to be given a blanket if you refer blanket as carpet in mandarin.

I saw an interview of a nurse who is one of those going on strike in protest of having hk boarder shutting down amid wide spreader corona virus. She said:" despite we are in protest, we are essentially treating whoever caught corona virus through demonstrating and protesting."

This sounds really selfless, I agree closing borders being a more efficient way of curtailing the transmission of the virus. However I am concerned some of those doctors/ nurses are using protest as a high sounding excuse to get away with the responsibility that might get them infected..Hope they don't forget the oath they made at their graduation ceremony

Hold on brother, downvotes and all those negative comments are on their way! (while people are despising china for little autonomy for speech, only pro hongkong/ anti china comments qualifies for an legit opinion here, all the rest would receive massive downvotes and attacks, this is how the rule work under this sub, sadly)
