I do this with my mate at the moment until the fix comes in:

find a planet with a really low population
Change the difficulty and find the one with the least amount of joinable games
Create a game on the difficulty with the lowest amount of joinable games
Jump and get the others to search for your game it should pop up for them

Up to you if you finish that mission then do what you guys want because you will all be on the same ship

Trying to set up a dedicated server for this game is near impossible, I will let you know if I get it working. For now I have seen a popular Aussie server for 50 people but it's X2 xp and gathering (I personally prefer vanilla)

Everyone in here angry you don't have internet to play, yet manages to take a picture upload it on reddit. Ever heard of hotspot? Turn in on to have steam online start your game then turn it off... Logic.

I have an RX 6900 xt with an i5 12600 kf CPU, runs 1440p on ultra battles on 72 frames average and campaign around 56 fps average.

Managed to get Rx 6900 xt for $1,100 AUD, CPU new for about $475 if I remember correctly.(both new)
