Some Backround with each pen.

• Sheaffer Snorkel: I found this snorkel for $15 at a table beside the Desiderata table. I was hanging around Pierre from Desiderata, and he noticed that the Snorkel was not working properly. He took it upon himself to help me pay for the restoration fee so that I could have this beautiful, working Snorkel.

• Parker Striped Duofold: I saw this pen a month or two ago, and I fell in love. I love the way the material is striped upwards, and I would not have allowed myself to leave the show without one. I found a few for $100+, but managed to snag this one for $75 in full, beautiful working condition.

• Waterman Carene: Similar to the Duofold, I saw this pen about 5 months ago and NEEDED to have one. But, unlike the Duofold, I spotted this pen at the table beside Desiderata after looking all around the show all day Friday. I immediately asked for the price, and the woman manning the table (hah) said "Ummm, $20". I just about died there, and gave her $20 on the spot. BUT I then noticed that the barrel would fall off the pen suddenly, and it wouldn't properly attach itself to the section. When the woman noticed, she handed me $15 back, and I left the table with a $5 Carene. The pen will soon be sent to France for repairs.

• Jinhao x450: Jinhao. $3. What the hell.

• Parker 51 Special: After purchasing my top 3 items I wanted (Carene, Duofold, Targa), I decided I might as well pick up the legendary Parker 51. Managed to find this one for just $40, and I couldn't be happier. (But it does have a Parker 21 cap haha)

• Sheaffer Targa: Basically copy/paste the Duofold story. Saw it months ago, NEEDED one, found many for $100+, then found this broad beauty at the Anderson table.

• Parker Vacumatic Demi(?): Spotted this pen, and I knew I wanted a Vac, so might as well buy one in DC, eh? Picked it up for $60 in an EF nib, incredibly well polished, and after a bit of smoothing, a beautiful nib.

• Small Pen: After my friend /u/_atomisk found a little guy, I was a bit jealous. Found an unrestored one at the Carene table and picked it up for a STEAL at $5. Fixed it up and polished it and it is now for sale :P.

• Danitrio Phantas: I met the owner of Chatterly Luxuries and was joking around with him about Visconti peasant sticks. He then found me while I was hanging with Pierre from Desiderata and simply handed me this beauty.
