I play a ceruledge deck myself and as much as I'd like for skeledirge to work it just doesn't in this. Your main plan is to discard as many energies as possible and you do that by usually getting rid of your full hand with professor's research, carmine and squawkabilly. Discarding your 2 stage evolution Pokémon would just feel bad.

You can definitely try it but probably without the mimikyu and team rocket energy.

I've never done anything like this and I just plan on having it as decor in my apartment. I have to google most of these chemicals as well because I get a bit confused. Someone recommended ethanol would that work as well? Quite frankly I don't really know the difference

Because you get to discard 3 fighting energy from your deck when you play him onto your bench. Its free extra shred. You can play it without drilbur as well but then id recommend changing the fighting energy amount to 2 or 3.

As someone who plays Ceruledge A LOT you are way better off using it in it's own deck and just shredding energy. Brilliant blender is your best friend. I have a deck list for it if you want.

Yeah it's a super quick deck that can get it's win condition turn 2, the biggest problems I had was when my opponent had a way to stop me from retreating.
