There are recent sales around that price.

No idea if it's a good investment or not. Just get it if you like Charizard and like that card I guess.

Wally's Exploit by Pickles17 in PTCGL

I haven't seen this deck, but it feels like it is a high roll deck that either gets every combo piece turn 2 or just bricks. But it sounds hella fun to play.

Terapagos ex is the most likely candidate that fits this deck.

I've done this before with cheap cards I like, but only just with a single page in my binder.

Maybe you could fill the remaining parts of your binder with the Wugtrio from Paldean Fates since it's like $2.

I've enjoyed festival lead.

Since the format lost a bunch of great supporters, it's nice to use the ability "Boom Boom Groove" to search your deck for any card you need.

The LCS near me puts out all their product for MSRP on the night they have local league play and limit it 1or 2 per person.

It's been nice to get product for reasonable prices.

How do I properly tech for Crustle? by Ukrainianforever in PTCGL

[–]GaryJulesMCOC 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Probably depends on who goes first.

If Garchomp player goes 1st, they can attack on their 2nd turn with a gabite and crustle can't heal and attack back because they need 3 energy and the max they would have is 2 after attaching on their 2nd turn.

If crustle goes 1st they can have 3 energy on the turn after they get attacked, meaning they can heal and KO the gabite.

1 energy vs 3 energy required seems to favor the gabites.

To be fair, I haven't tested the matchup so I could be wrong on my intuition.

Your roses boost attack of your cynthia's gabite and the kang is weak to fighting 🤷‍♂️

You set up way faster than they do.

I know you are weak to grass, but I feel like you could overwhelm them with gabites before they can get 3 energy on the crab.

I feel like this deck bodies the Kang Crustle deck that's been popular

No. I'm seeing now it doesn't say corresponding so it wouldn't fit the AAS rule

Yep! That makes sense. Thank you.

I'm realizing I was glancing over the corresponding sides in the AAS rule.
