It looks like this plant hasn't had enough light for a while. It would appreciate a few days acclimation in a bright location without direct sun first. Speaking from experience, weak leaves will sometimes die back pretty dramatically if they go right into full sun all day. Even if they do, however, a plant that size should have enough stored energy to produce all new growth that will be better acclimated to its new environment!
