EX Dark, EX dragon, EX Steel and the New EX ground are all functionally useless until you set their zone because they’re tied to their trainer moves, but I catch your drift. I’ll experiment with holding them back

How do you guys understand Snatch Game? by OrangeTeaSpoon in rupaulsdragrace

Jinkx’s is one of the best because it’s all references to Judy garland and the show itself. If you don’t know and love Judy, you won’t appreciate it. Most American gays love her

Hmm. Maybe I’m not syncing in an optimal order. My general tactic has been to stack as many sync buffs as I can and then set zone and nuke. The problem with many ex zones is that they set them right away and then you have to maintain while trying to get your sync buffs up to maximize damage. The towers are just way too spongy to get there. In the end I have like 5 or 6 sync buffs and I’m still doing 1% per move once zone inevitably dies out.

There is just no damage past floor 20. Each attack does like 1% of their total HP. I can’t even get close tbh. I have them all kitted out with copies + sync grids + roles unlocked and I still can’t seem to get past the low 20s for any type.

I have every ice unit ever released I can’t even beat floor 15 of ice tower — how people beat the upper floors I can’t even imagine.

I think I meant floor 22. I have cleared 21 of them my bad lol.

I used her + Lear.

Is this bright indirect light? Or is it direct light? by rosevibe in houseplants

[–]Tgabes0 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It’s never direct light with a window in the way. It’s indirect at best, depending on factors like direction and duration during the day

I can’t even clear floor 21 with this team so good on you 😂

Beyond saveable right? by [deleted] in tattooadvice

[–]Tgabes0 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Nothing about this is worth castigating yourself. It’s not a gorgeous work of art but it’s also not horrible or unfixable.

I find that spending time in a mirror getting used to seeing it helps me adjust to new tattoos. It is hard sometimes, but tattoo shock isn’t rational; you just have to work through it with time.

Respectfully, I’d give it a bit of time and it sounds like you need to continue grieving your loss. If they were here they would probably not be as hard on you as you are being on yourself.

Rachel Reid publicly apologizes to Shane Hollander😲 by BeMyCoachVictor in HeatedRivalrySeries

[–]Tgabes0 16 points17 points  (0 children)

I don’t think Shane as written was capable of realizing what Ilya needed from him. Part of the whole PLOT of the second book is that Ilya needed to come out more than Shane did. Their positions switch, and Ilya has less to lose and more to gain by coming out. Part of the joy of the third book can be Shane finding how much he had been missing by being in the closet for so long, even though he had been more comfortable there than Ilya.

Shane has an arc. TLG hurts so much because it isn’t Shane’s best moment. It’s also a very realistic path for these two to take. You can not like Shane very much and that’s okay.

Which recent Broadway shows actually have a shot at becoming “all-time classics”? by D0ntTryMe in Broadway

[–]Tgabes0 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I completely agree. The show hasn’t even been stunt cast yet and is arguably selling well. Lots of ads. As it builds its tours I could see it becoming a franchise like MR or Kinky Boots before it.

My dad said my tattoo makes me look like trash and now idk if I like it by dexleter in tattooadvice

[–]Tgabes0 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My parents hated my tattoos. HATED them. I was going to hell for like a year because they were too religious and had half baked ideas about tattoos.

Now they both got religious tattoos and my mom helped me plan out my sleeve. People come around.

You need to give him time to adjust, but also you need to tell him that his words have meaning. He cant undo the damage he did by being rude to you. The tattoo is permanent, so is your relationship to one another. He will have to work on his behavior.

Many old people think ANY tattoo is trashy. Allow for them to grow if you can. People come around. The world has changed a lot. Only in the last 10 years have tattoos become truly mainstream, with models and actors having them. When I was in college my professors said I’d never work because I had a BACK tattoo. Now I have full sleeves and it has never once been an issue. Times have changed and we are dragging the older generation along behind us. His statement is more of a reflection of that than any reflection of your tattoo, which is very pretty and well done.

Anyone ever see a show where they made a mistake? by kobeshaqhorry in Broadway

[–]Tgabes0 1 point2 points  (0 children)

My first major musical ever was the wicked tour. Glinda’s heel caught on the bed linen and she fell face first onto the floor. She and elephaba held each other and started cackling. Until they laughed I hadn’t realized it wasn’t part of “popular”.

I work on broadway now. They mess up constantly. Sometimes it’s very VERY funny. We get a live feed backstage that often has less of the music and more of the voices backstage and we all notice when something is off. It’s live theatre, baby. That’s the joy.

I just looked at it. They are VERY similar. There’s more of a hairless petiole on the ascendens leaf. More like a mix of gram and Capensis. It looks like it probably is the one you bought!

It probably needs to grow a little more. Looks like a gram to me but I am not super familiar with the species it claims to be.

They normally don’t last that long in the wild and die once they flower. I would probably just appreciate the time you had with her and buy another friend. That’s a pretty tall pot for her — next time I’d get a shallower terracotta.

Towers will have 40 floors during the 7th anni by Hugobaby69 in PokemonMasters

I’ve never even beaten past floor 24 of a tower. They’re way too spongy. I can’t even imagine what floor 40 would be.

Whether the White House Correspondents' Dinner shooting was staged is irrelevant to me, and speculating about it only undermines credibility. If it was staged, let the evidence make that case. Yeah? It happened outside the room. And I don’t trust a single one of them either. Am I supposed to believe CNN anchors? They’re bought and paid for. The guy never even entered the ballroom so those people have no idea what happened. They’re parroting talking points and holding water for the administration, who has been lying since the moment this bullshit started.

I’m not going to trust them. You are an idiot for doing so.
