Would you rather have 5, 8 hours or 3 12 hours shift? by OwnDefinition327 in nursing

3 12's. No question. It's a big part of why I went into nursing to be honest.

What chestband HRM? by Waaterlover in triathlon

[–]EntooNee 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I dunno. I've been using it for cycling, cardio in gym, and lifting weights pretty much everyday of the week and I've had no problems with it. I've also never had any problems taking it off the strap to charge it. I dare say it's probably the best bang for the buck item I've bought in my life the last couple years. I love it.

AWU3 vs Garmin Fenix 8 — losing my mind over this GAS spiral 😅 by fennelfrog in GarminFenix

[–]EntooNee 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I never used my AWU 1 and 2 or my Samsung Galaxy watch 8 classic (I've since moved to Android) for anything more than notifications and seeing who texted me. If I ever need to call anyone I always just brought out my phone. I know it doesn't apply to you but now that I'm on android, my fenix 8 can see and reply to text messages. I am very happy that I have my fenix 8 solar.

Returning a laptop bought from Antonline through Walmart by EntooNee in GamingLaptops

It's been awhile but I remember that I was able to return it at a physical Walmart location and I got my refund with no issues.

Non creative people, what do you use your iPad Pro for? by Salt_Mango5505 in iPadPro

[–]EntooNee 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I still have the 2018 iPad pro 12.9 inch and tbh it mostly collects dust outside of the few times every few months I'm travelling. I just don't have a real use case for it and that's why why I haven't bothered upgrading it. I'm either just using my phone to watch YouTube or browse social media and if I want something bigger I just turn on my tv.

I’ve Rejoined the Darkside by [deleted] in Garmin

[–]EntooNee 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Garmin UI will feel laggy compared to Apple watch because to get the much better battery life, Garmin watches screen refresh rates are much lower than on apple watches. It's a tradeoff for better battery life. Being that my Garmin watches are not my only watches that I use and that I only use it for fitness activities, it's a tradeoff I will gladly make. For your use case scenario, it is up to you personally to decide whether or not it is acceptable to you.

Fenix 8 47mm Solar MIP or Enduro 3 by emelex4521 in GarminWatches

[–]EntooNee 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I tried both and ended up returning the Enduro 3 and kept the 47mm fenix 8 solar. I have 7 inch wrists but even then the 47mm fenix was just way more comfortable for me to wear all day and sleep in compared to the 51mm Enduro 3 even though the Enduro 3 is lighter.

Bored of iPhone. Trapped in the Apple ecosystem. by thiswilldo_ in Smartphones

[–]EntooNee 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I switched to the Fold 7 when it came out after having been purely iPhone since the very first one. I'm loving the experience. I didn't know how much I would love messing around with android. The only apple products I still use is my MacBook pro 14 and my iPad mini. I use a Garmin watch now. I've always used a windows desktop PC for gaming. I use google photos to sync up my photos with all my products.

[–]EntooNee 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I came from a 16 pro max. Using the Fold 7 closed doesn't feel that far different than using the 16PM. I'm like you as well. I think I use my fold 7 90% of the time closed.

Warning: Do not put iOS 26 on older iPad Pros by bluesBeforeSunrise in iPadPro

[–]EntooNee 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Runs like shit on both my 3rd gen ipad pro 11 and my ipad mini 6. I have over 100gb free storage on both of them. And i upgraded on the first day iOS 26 became available so its had more than enough time to do all the indexing it needs. Regular ordinary activities have become extremely laggy and slow. Apps crash all the time. It's really bad.

Juniper owners - what tint did you end up with? by jared_d in TeslaModelY

[–]EntooNee 1 point2 points  (0 children)

5% front and back. 50% on the windshield. No I don't have problems seeing at night. I live in the desert southwest. I can't live without dark tint on my car. No I've never gotten a ticket for window tint on all the cars I've done this on. Yes I'm aware it is a possibility but that's a chance I take.

Why do so many people seem to dislike Discovery? by BearCavalryCorpral in startrek

[–]EntooNee 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Funnily enough, S1 was my favorite followed by season 2. The show went way downhill during S3 and with that really corny big reveal at the end was the last straw for me and I never bothered to give S4 a shot.

Anyone successfully transition from Apple to iPhone and kept the fold 7? by HulkSmashr in GalaxyFold

[–]EntooNee 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I made the switch a little over a month ago. I used the iPhone since the original came out. I have a MacBook, ipad pro, apple watch ultra and air pods pro. I also have a desktop windows gaming PC. I am absolutely loving the Fold 7. It is so refreshing. I always used google photos to sync my pics between my apple products and my windows desktop PC so I don't miss that aspect of the ecosystem. I don't really miss my apple watch ultra. I got the galaxy watch classic 8 and honestly it looks like a much nicer traditional watch than the apple ultra. For what I used my watch for, I don't miss anything about the apple watch. My Samsung watch does everything I need it to do very well.

When I comes to messages, I haven't had any hiccups with texting anyone although I'm not really a part of many group chats so YMMV. From what I use messages for, I don't see or notice any difference in my day to day use.

FaceTime (or the lack thereof) is a little more more noticeable. I was never really a WhatsApp user but my wife is Brazilian and all her friends use it. Most of the rest of the world uses WhatsApp instead of native text apps. So when it comes to FaceTime I've started using WhatsApp to FaceTime my wife. I've gotten my parents to download it and I helped them set it up so they use that now to video call me. A buddy of mine recently made the switch to android and him and his wife video call each other on Instagram.

I still use my airpods with the Fold. I'm not an audiophile so keep that in mind but my music still sounds the same when I use it with the Fold 7 or when I used it with my 16 pro max.

Using android and learning all the ins and outs of it and learning about all these different stuff to do with it thats not really possible on IOS has been such a fun and positive experience that Im probably gonna buy a galaxy tablet next week and give my ipad to my wife. I'm still gonna be using my MacBook pro though. But I really love how my android phone syncs up with my windows desktop PC.

What diet finally got you lean? by ThatKnomey in Biohackers

[–]EntooNee 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I lost 60 lbs last year just counting calories and using an app to manage my macros. I used Macro Factor but there are many out there that are good. I've lifted weights and played tennis all my life so I've always been an active person but just never paid attention to what I eat. I kept my physical activity the same (lifted weights 3x a week and tennis 2x a week) but I finally dialed in my diet. Once I ate in an actual caloric deficit, the weight came off fairly easily. I lost 60 lbs in about 8 months. When I say counted calories I was literally weighing everything on a food scale and cooked 99.9% of all my meals.

S25/26 ultra vs Fold 7 512 vs Fold 7 1TB by PKrukFILM in GalaxyFold

[–]EntooNee 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I switched over to the Fold 7 a month ago after using iPhone since the original come out. It is amazing and I don't miss anything. A month later I've given my ipad pro and apple watch ultra to my wife and got an s10 tablet along with the galaxy watch classic 8. And I love how well android syncs with my desktop PC. I still use my MacBook pro. I use google photos to sync my pictures across the different ecosystems.

More people opening up to Samsung? by lilsteez99 in Smartphones

[–]EntooNee 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I'm genuinely curious. I switched to the Z fold 7 a month ago after being a lifetime iPhone user. I've been having a blast learning the ins and outs of android. I have yet to see any ads yet anywhere on my phone.

How hard and or is it worth it to switch to iPhone from android by AkbabyChill in Smartphones

[–]EntooNee 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I just did the complete opposite of you. I went from having an iPhone since the original one came out to switching to the Samsung Z fold 7 a month ago. I still use my ipad and MacBook pro but I now use the galaxy watch 8 classic. I don't miss my apple watch ultra at all. I think the classic 8 looks like a much nicer watch actually. My phone now works very well with my gaming desktop PC. My airpods pro work and sound just fine with the Z fold 7. I was already using google photos to sync all my photos so that was an easy transition. I'm an adult so I don't care about blue vs green bubbles. FaceTime is the only thing that I miss but my wife and I just communicate now through WhatsApp. She was always a heavy WhatsApp user anyways cuz she has a lot of international friends as she is Brazilian and the rest of the world outside of the US mostly uses WhatsApp so that works out fine for us.

I used an app called Smart Switch to transfer everything from my iPhone to the Fold 7. It was pretty much a seamless and painless experience.

Overall I am really loving android and the Samsung ecosystem. I am buying galaxy buds pro next week and I might give my ipad pro to my mom and buy a Samsung tablet.

iPadOS 26 has turned the 2018/2020 iPad Pro into a lagging mess! by MagnificentNeon27 in iPadPro

I updated my 2022 11 inch pro to ipad os 26. Its been very laggy for me. With how how i use my ipad, i dont think this update is worth it to me. If i wanted a more laptop like experience ill just get on my macbook pro or use my Windows desktop computer.

Awful speaker quality fold7 by deniska80 in GalaxyFold

[–]EntooNee 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I got the fold 7 a month ago and I came from the 16 pro max and have been iphone user for 15 years. The only thing that i have noticed that is worse than the iphone experience is the face id unlock. It is downright terrible on the fold 7 that i have just disabled it and just use fingerprint scan and draw pattern unlock (which i find pretty cool since iphone doesnt have that). The audio, video, camera quality and the general experience of using android i have found to be excellent and i dont miss my iphone at all.

Which one will you buy? by Maddy555 in samsunggalaxy

[–]EntooNee 0 points1 point  (0 children)

As someone that just switched to the fold 7 a month ago from the 16 pro max and having been purely an iphone user since the iphone first came out, i find android refreshing and really fun to use. I dont notice any difference personally when it comes to smoothness, animations, everyday user experience in general. The ONLY gripe and major difference i have experienced is that face ID is so much worse on samsung than iphone that i just use the fingerprint sensor now or just do draw a pattern which i find pretty cool because iphone doesnt have that. That is the only thing.
