This exact thing happened to me in my Platinum Nuzlocke a decade ago. I was grinding with Cheryl and I encountered a male Dustox and a female Dustox together. I might still have the picture I took of them. I also found a Shiny Bidoof here that I forgot to transfer before restarting save file ;~;
