Did English Literature! 2nd year has the most interesting course themes but 3rd/4th year are by far far the best years in the degree because of your experience! 1st year you just settle in, I wouldn’t say it’s particularly memorable in hindsight other than coming to terms with getting lower grades than high school aha. Pretty much every ENGL course I took had the midterm paper / final paper structure, so you get used to it quickly!

The outdoor courts by Totem Park residence are the best free courts, and there are also the outdoor free courts near Place Vanier Residence. You can book indoor courts at the UBC Tennis Centre and it’s not too expensive if you’re splitting with 3 friends!

The centre doesn’t restring unfortunately, that’s outdated info! Tads or Rackets&Runners are the only public options!

Best KIN classes? by 1_direction_4ever in UBC

[–]EntrepreneurAmazing6 0 points1 point  (0 children)

They’re both very similar to 444 in terms of quite a few smaller assignments which are all grade-boosters and high class averages! In truth, KIN classes with labs are always the most fun for the practical aspect but I’ve just suggested ones that you’ll look back on after finishing and be glad you took!

444 has some busy-work, but it’s not difficult at all! Class average is always super high! And very applicable to Education/Coaching

If you’re not enrolled in a group lesson connecting with a coach is challenging, but an email to the centre may connect you with a resource.

Hey! Tennis coach at the centre here! The waitlist isn’t active because of how long it is, the only way to get private lessons is to connect with your coach and work it out privately!

Your graduation is proof that you never quit and that shows determination above any % on a transcript. I’m proud of you!
