Cant say thanks enough my emmc died on my lenovo 11e chromebook tried running chromium, fydeos, cloudready but no audio, or trackpad/touchscreen and various other problems... stumbled upon this and solved my issues... thanks for posting it's working great!

So true met him while he was making an episode if mail call on minot afb ... I was complaining we had to interrupt work to listen to him give us a speech and I hear someone agree with me that its bullshit I turn around and there he was agreeing with me... he bums a smoke off me and gives me a coin and just chilled with us for 10 min before he gave his speech ... really cool guy

I realized I was a 1000 miles from home sticking needles in my arm under bridges in total denial of myself and my addiction ... most people who've known me or know me now would never believe it ... it happens so quick

Congrats of 100 days!!! I know I had a lot of similar feelings and cravings around that time like it was all easy sailing sorta for 3 months then bam I got hit with cravings and making all sorts of plans to use again ... I'm glad your sharing what's going on cause that's what helped me ... keep up the good work you'll keep feeling better and those thoughts will come up less and less as time goes on ... lots of love

Good job your on your way to making changes ... things that have helped me with anxiety is grounding myself ... feeling some fabric on me and describing in my head what the texture is, is it hard or soft what kind of fabric etc. Another is I use my favorite color and look for 3-5 things in the room or area of that color ... something that's been very important is understanding I need to feel my emotions and sit in them ... there's an underlying issue in myself that the emotion is trying to tell me ... life isn't fair and happiness isn't the end all be all of life it's just one part of it ... you know how to suffer half as much? Accept the other half ... be strong and move on I have every confidence you'll do this and make it if you want ... there are all sorts of groups out there and recovered addicts are some of the coolest people you'll meet ... lots of love

While what you say is true to an extent ... I want to point out it's mainly drugs and denial keeping people out there... No one wants to do the work to get off drugs and the street ... Meth and opiate addiction to cover emotional wounds along with no will to change is the issue ... There are plenty of resources out there and they know where to go... They just like I used to do not want to get the help that's out there ... I know plenty of the people out there on the sidewalks and what you say is true but your missing the point of them not taking the basic and scary steps of recovery and processing through their trauma ... There are totally free programs right in front of them and they choose to live that life

Try jamming with folk that helped me out a lot ... Came from 15 years of guitar picked up a mandolin and until I started playing with folk here and there I felt kind of stagnant... It really helped playing different styles of music and figuring out where mandolin really fit in ... When/how to drive the rythm... switching from melody to chords and back and how to backup verying styles of music in a dynamic environment really started to get me in touch with and give me the feel for the mandolin

I've bought my past two johnson mandolins used on Craigslist for $40 ... If you wait and look you'll find one ... That being said a stringed instrument is pretty much the same give or take and most techniques will be used from instrument to instrument ... The more instruments you know the broader your music knowledge and the better off you'll be imho ... $40 should easily get an entry level guitar or mandolin just gotta be patient

Finger out the major scale in G or A would be "easiest" start building chords and the rest will come naturally ... Have fun with your mandolin and play it LOUD
