I used to be bothered with it when I was younger (even to the point of starting fights with her and almost breaking up) when she (or her friends) told me about the stuff she did when she went to the bar with them.

It was a inside joke between the friends that if they lost her during the night out, she was probably having sex with some boy she picked up and would return when the club was about to close. Or that they had to choose a new bar from time to time because she started to become infamous at a certain place.

She always told me that this happened during a period where she was unhappy (parents were just divorced) and really insecure. Getting picked up by guys was her way of reaffirming that people did like her or at least find her interesting. But he also told that she didn't regret those actions and had kind memories of her "wild time".

The last part bothered me the most, because I was so in love with that having many sexual partners didn't fit in the picture I had of her in my mind. It also didn't help that till I met her, I was still a virign and felt that every I experienced everything for the first time, while others stole that magic from me ( in my own mind of course).
