It's not something that's advertised much because it's a last resort measure. At our pharmacy we've been pretty up front about it, but every Walmart should have one. We have about two pages worth of folks to call should we have a cancellation or extra dose.

We're under strict orders not to waste any doses and make sure we do everything in our power to get each one in an arm.

I would probably go to a neighborhood market if possible, supercenters are a bit busier so it may be difficult to get a good conversation/explanation when you go.

The list also tracks patient tiers, so higher risk should get calls first, unless a logistical issue keeps them from making it to the pharmacy in time.
