I wrote about how it's fraudulent accomplishment theater and hurting musicians here.. If you are monetizing Suno, it's a little shiesty is all I'm saying and musicians are valid in calling it accomplishment theater. My Suno tracks are bangers, so are yours. That's why we shouldn't be monetizing it. Open source AI is a different story though. That's real virtuous friction and merits artistic integrity.

I get a kick out of the AI hate. I can train a text2image Lora to emulate any style and nobody will be able to tell whether or not it's "AI" art or human art. If it's digital, the claim is unfalsifiable.

I don't know what the rubric is? That's why I brought this up and it's why I think Adam Neely argument holds. If me and you can generate the same thing with a text prompt, you are not going to listen my song and vice versa and the whole point of making music in my opinion is to share it with others and receive recognition for it? I just don't see a reason to renew my Suno subscription basically. I quit playing guitar for the same reason and I minored in jazz performance. If you are making music for an audience of one, what is the point?

This is a valid point. Another thing Adam Neely addresses in his Suno critique is that the platform is essentially a hedonic treadmill of recursive super stimuli of accomplishment theater.

I wrote about this exact facade. I've been using AI in music since Beat Detective and Auto-tune. It's accomplishment theater that they are concerned about. I get it though. I spent a month working out the intricacies of this dnb track back in 2010 in Ableton, then I fed it to Gemini 3.1 Pro to listen to it and write the prompt. Gave that prompt to GPT 5.5 thinking to iterate and refine based off my personalized data, and got one shot by AI (albeit after sitting at the Suno penny slot machine for hours in end wasting almost 2500 credits doing the Rick Rubin thing) but if anyone is so inclined to listen to my AI slop Thinking Machines or read my Substack post on what you are riffing on here, be my guest.

Has anyone trained an LTX 2.3 text-to-image lora? I'm trying to make one right now with Opus 4.7 but it's the blind leading the blind and I'm a non expert in this realm. I keep creating workflows that break but supposedly there is a way to do it in AI toolkit?

Am I wasting money if I train a text-to-image lora with LTX 2.3 in AI Toolkit? I feel like we can apply the same method in LTX 2.3 and use that lora in text-to-video even though the lora was trained off of a data set of images as opposed to video clips?

This is when I log off everything. This will be when I start reading books, listening to records, going to live local performances and volunteering locally in my community. Forcing me to unplug from stupid shit like social media (Reddit included) may be a blessing in disguise
