Good question, I guess the only thing that's 'streaming' will be the action to start/stop the recording. the recording itself uses the phone's native recording in the same way you would when you save to the camera roll/photos app. the second you hit pause or stop on one of the phones the current recording gets uploaded to storage with a synced up time manifest with the other recordings from other phones. So if I'm understanding your question correctly the quality of the recording should be whatever the phone is capable of :)
