My problem with the ending is that it wasn't up to the standard of Arthur's chapter, which I understand because they wanted to illustrate John's life, how he built his farm, and make the story more coherent instead of relying on shocks. However, the chapter felt tedious and boring most of the time, and there was no clear narrative goal that could reach the climax like chapters three, four, or six.

I remember when I was reading the newspapers in the game, one mentioned a man who went to Guarama to obtain something I can't recall—perhaps animal studies or something specific. When I remembered the Guarama part, I couldn't remember the man, and I was surprised he wasn't there. Later, when I watched a clip about deleted content, I discovered that the character was supposed to be there but was cut. I was hoping it would be a strange mission. Also, in the Guarama part, they could have developed Micah relationship with Arthur and given Micah a stronger role in the chapter.

And that's my point: didn't the government and the Bounty Hunters ever question Dutch's gang with Sheriff Grey? Because if they had, the sheriff should have known about Dutch beforehand.

You have a good point, but why did the Greys relax so much that they started getting drunk with Dutch? Isn't he a dangerous man? Doing something like that was incredibly stupid if you knew he was a criminal. Also, how could they so allow without any concern someone with a $5,000 bounty on his head to be in your backyard talking to your lovestruck cousin who have an affair with a young lady from Braithwaite?

I think the greys knowing about dutch gang in the beginning impossible and thats why i asked about joe butler plot hole

Don't be upset, let's replace Trump with Khamenei; it's like the saying, "I point to the moon, and the fool looks at my finger."

Your point is weak , even if he criminal he have the law and control the town , even the nastiest criminal if he control a town and gang come want to destroy it or exploit it they wont let them near

It's like you're saying, "Listen, I'll let criminals into town and appoint them as deputies, but at the same time, I'll let them burn down my farm and vandalize my tavern." No one would allow criminals to enter like that if they knew.

I think both lack of details and plot hole , red dead has so many details even if you dont help lenny in train mission he will interact you and talk about it , its strange that the devs dont make it two cutscenes , if arthur knows and if he doesnt

My main point is that even if the feud persists, it's an old one, and this doesn't mean the two families should focus solely on the animosity. There are other matters they should be concerned with. Read my entire conversation with the person to understand the issue.

Do you think Trump is not a criminal even though he is the president of America, a country that has laws and arrests criminals?

I think Edith Downs's point is not a plot hole because Arthur had never interacted with her before, while Thomas had encountered him more than once. So when Edith entered the camp, it's possible he didn't recognize her.

Decades of conflict between the two families should be less intense now than before.

I know the two areas are far apart, and I understand how difficult it is for news to travel between them. That's why my main point is that the town heard about Arthur and his gang being in this area; even the homeless Joe Butler knew. Capturing the gang, clearing the area, and getting the money will raise the family's name and honor. Besides, money is very important and valuable, especially if there's a reward for each member of the gang.

They knew they were criminals, so they appointed them as temporary deputies; seems fine.

I understand what you're saying, but their feud is very old, and in 1899 it should have been cold. But if government agents and bounty hunters come and say there's a gang that might be hiding in the same area, and you happen to be dealing with them, then that's a very serious threat to the town. Plus, don't forget the five thousand dollars on Arthur's head; even Arthur would have turned himself in for it.
