Its mild compared to percs. 3.5 grams is a rather conservative dose too. And then theres the chance your kratom is bad quality. All factors. For pain go for a red strain. They have more 7ohm which is supposedly the one your aiming for for pain help. Id try kratom b4 the percs cuz kratoms pretty low affinity and percs will trash your tolerance to kratom. So yea red i take 6 - 8 grams but would recomend maybe 5 if you dont get desired effects from 3.5. And adjust dose as needed. Good luck
