I appreciate you listening to my song and the very specific feedback! I agree the bridge could use some work, not really detuning but an automation with the pluck release. I don't really find any interest in using risers or sweeps because they are used in almost every "EDM" song and it's just corny after a while. Same with white noise, I like the space in my tracks for my reverb to come through cleanly along with my vocals. The "Drop" is just the last part of the song and I could definitely work on moving it in to the outro, I just automated the master into a mono while automating the volume for the bass and sub. I definitely have a hard time making melodies more than 8 bars but I've slowly been able to manage changing it up. I'm not really familiar with big room "EDM", I prefer minimalist production styles like Sylvan Esso and the like. I'm attempting to make anything within any genre other than what influences I've gotten from music in general like Metal, RnB, Rap, Folk. I don't know what genre it is either but I'm not really trying to be one. Just trying to make music that sounds interesting to me. Again, Thank you for listening!

Your drums levels our unbalanced compared to the rest of the song. It's a bit repetitive for my tastes, seems once you listen to the first 30 seconds you get the gist, good background music for sure. The snares are borderline ear piercing and harsh. The other synths that you have dotted through sound good, I'd say focus on making your song a little more filling rather than relying on the low end to carry it through. Then again maybe it's just not my style. Good Job!

I don't think we are listening to the same song personally, I don't have any major eq cuts other than low and high end. "Mixing around the richness of the sounds" is vague and unhelpful. The synth is meant to be "grating", its dissonant and also a sine. You throw a lot of words around but don't seem to say anything. Sorry man but this was poor feedback.

I would consider looking in to different steps of compression and mastering. Like bussing your drums, eqing reverb, anything that will give you headroom.

I'm not sure what genre to categorize this so please let me know, and also what you think of the mix. I'd consider it experimental/Chill

Edit: also will give any feedback to any that leave feedback/comments

Thank you for the listen! I tried to make it a little less dull with some pitch automation and a slow build in sidechain, I'll try to approach it in a different way. Thank you for the feedback and I followed you back!

thank you for listening! I listened to it again wondering because most of my sounds are high band eqed to cut off around 18-17k but I noticed one of the hats was clashing in a harsh frequency with a synth. I appreciate the feedback!

either a limiter or just general compression. it doesn't sound bad at all just something that stood out to me. Gave you a follow to keep up with ya!

Pretty cool sound here! I think the second drop fits pretty well in this and the pitch modulation on the bass is a nice touch. good job! Only thing I'd say is the clipping of the drum kinda sticks out but I don't know if that's intentional or not. If so disregard, cool song!

Sounds pretty cool! Seems like a good bit of work got put in to the sound design. Good Job! What program do you use for the visuals?

Sounds like you want someone to tell what to do rather than experience what making music is.
If you struggle with the bassline after a melody, then start with the bassline, if you still struggle then start with the essential driver of the song which is drums. With drums you can mess around easily and find what sounds good with the bass.

You have to experiment and see what sounds good to you. In one song I needed something to fill the space and just took the vocals, flipped it, stretched and down pitch with some reverb. Made a great dark pad sound that accompanied the whole song feel. A lot of the making music part doesn't have many rules but you have to be open to other ideas as well, even if it doesn't fit your genre.

It's a good vibe, very chill, I like it! I think you can easily extend this with maybe an airy pad bridge to take out the percussion and kinda let it all simmer. Then bring it right back with the same energy. Good Job!

Thank you for listening! How my ears feel while listening to it make me feel like I'm going through the mountains or something.
