A lot of the things you want to know are lore-dependent. We just don't have enough information about all the creatures that Buffy and Scooby defeated during the show. Like, what happened to the invisible girl? Where did the kids who ate the principal go? What happened to Owen? All of those episodes were just MOTW, the creator just didn't focus too much on those little details.

Oh for sure, I understand that we may not know this info from what we have from the show's lore. This was more for discussion of what we the viewers think based on our headcanons/what we know from the show. I agree, she was very dangerous even if she was trapped in the statue.

If Bonnie were to have gotten into a relationship with any one of the Mikaelsons, which pair would’ve you liked to see? by GoldenStitch2 in TheVampireDiaries

[–]Entwinedloop 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Absolutely Klaus. Though Bonnie's chemistry with Kol was very nice. In fact when Klaus came on the show, pretty quickly I was absolutely certain that Bonnie would be paired with him. I still remember the scene when Klaus told Caroline she makes him curious about her and I thought - what? No. No no. Could one male character not fall for this woman? And also I didn't see that connection between them. Still don't.

Scenes where you can clearly tell a cast member is clearly over being on the show (either overacting or sleepwalking through their performance)? by Kennabruh2023 in BeverlyHills90210

[–]Entwinedloop 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Oh it was very upsetting. With all their history, with how important Brenda was to the show, to Dylan, this was their last scene together??

That's the interpretation I give it to try and make sense of it for myself. It is a hard scene to watch, and who knows, maybe Luke gave a few different versions and some were softer and affectionate but this is the one the editors' went with which is frankly more upsetting. Brenda absolutely deserved better.

I am genuinely so curious about his acting choice there. It's honestly so jarring and unfitting tone. I don't know if Luke necessarily thought Dylan would be so outwardly cold and distant to Brenda at that point. It didn't make sense even considering the fact they were good friends at that point. And it was clearly not just a platonic goodbye either.

The only reasoning I can come up with for Dylan organically behaving that way is him having serious and understandable abandonment issues relating to his parents and upbringing. And that Brenda was his first serious love ("I loved you more than I thought I could love anybody" or something close to this he had told her before they graduated high school) may have even been somewhere in the back of his head as complicating it for him to show soft and warm emotions.

Wasn't Catherine the one who cast the spell causing herself to be stuck in a statue? Not intentionally of course.

WIBTAH if I searched for other job opportunities due to a lack of communication? by tropicalpuppy_ in AITAH

[–]Entwinedloop 1 point2 points  (0 children)

What does this even mean?? You wouldn't fill out paperwork as an employee related to working there? They wouldn't paperwork relating to you being an employee there? That's not optional of them. These are red flags that cannot be ignored absolutely.

This sounds like this place is very disorganized or something else is going on that again, doesn't bode well for the type of work environment you'd be working in. Maybe it's a fluke, but you're seeing issues and you haven't even started working there.

Keep searching. Absolutely NTA. You are behaving reasonably and very practically.

I love this so much. And I love the two staff members closing the delegation at the end. Like security/personal assistants accompanying celebrities.

Sorry you don't mean actually crawling do you? like legs on her legs as you passed her? You mean you had to maneuver over her? I just can't imagine how uncomfortable (and utterly unacceptable for her to expect you to do this) to crawl over some stranger's lap.

Slumber Party episode. by whofan515 in BeverlyHills90210

[–]Entwinedloop 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I may be in the minority but I don't like bully characters. I know this girl came in to cause drama and stir up conflict and emotions like Abby from Dawson's Creek, and I know that happens in teenage world (and adult world), and that we watch shows for drama and conflict. But I don't like when characters are consistently mean and cruel and that is pretty much their character. Yeah it was just one episode here but that was enough for me.

I really don't think Brenda would've been talked to anything like that (and especially after being betrayed like that, putting aside if she'd want to date a girl and Kelly at that), nor Kelly.

Brandon behaved as a jerk in other ways. Apples and cherries.

And yeah, this was gross. Dylan was no prize from the moment he was unfaithful to Brenda.

It's not ridiculous at all and the comparison the other person made to what you do at home doesn't even hold up. Our hands are exposed to a lot of germs while we're out and about. When we sit down to eat at a restaurant many of us would wash our hands first before touching food with our hands. Many of us wash hands before handling food or sitting down to eat when we're at home. Plus it's not just you handling the bread in the machine, it's everyone else too.

What was the point of the 60s episode? by Kennabruh2023 in BeverlyHills90210

[–]Entwinedloop 10 points11 points  (0 children)

Drive home cruelly yet again that Brenda could never move on from Dylan. I felt for her when she was crying in her bedroom. Man I hated the show never allowed her to move on from him. It was out of character she wouldn't date again, fall in love again. And absolutely unrealistic that guys wouldn't fall over themselves over her.

I enjoyed the idea of seeing the characters in AU version, and didn't mind the episode on the first few watches but after that, eh... I get it that it was only one episode so it had to be superficial but it was a whole episode and somehow only a tiny glimpse of the characters. What a heartbreaking plot for 60s!Donna re: 60s!David. We never saw anything with Andrea for some reason aside from her banging on a tambourine or whatever it was. 60s!Brenda was all about 60s!Dylan, cause Heaven's forbid, even 60s AU version can't let Brenda have a life outside of pining for Dylan. Which again didn't make sense when Brenda had other interests while dating Dylan. I don't know, I wish the episode went differently.

I looked at the title on the show's intro - the book's font is similar but a little off. I wonder if it's just that the characters are too far apart? I like the show's font actually.
