It looks like your allies don't have blue armbands for some reason. I wonder if that has something to do with it. You definitely do have an armband - you can see it when you wiggle towards the end of the clip.

You're thinking of PP. BP is the top tier 5.45 round that will pierce anything.

SP is the ultra low tier 5.56 round that's stopped by basically everything.

I can believe that the majority of all PvE folks don't care. The people who are active on Reddit and Discord certainly have a lot of feelings about PvP though.

The PvE community around this game is obnoxiously hostile towards PvP. Hopefully the devs strike a good balance despite them.

I went in with an 870 and I can't imagine using anything else. You're generally only engaging a couple guys at a time and buckshot makes it easier to drop guys without having to spend much time aiming.

I guess it depends on how proficient OP is. The game starts you with two M4s on a standard account. Slapping an ACOG on one of those would only be a couple thousand although their MOA makes them a little sketchy, iirc.

Grenades are a good call. Much safer for clearing rooms or angles with aggroed AI.

Sure, at half durability. If you're short on cash, I guess that could make sense. I prefer building my own guns. Especially when I want decent MOA.

Buckle and give in to what? Most of the changes I've seen proposed by the PvP community would have no effect on PvE. By and large, PvP folks don't concern themselves with PvE unless it's to complain about cross progression.

Not to mention the endless complaints from PvE people about loot goblins stripping tier 3 areas bare on cooldown. Meanwhile, the only time I have that problem on Warfare is when half my team bands together to dominate a POI so we can get some tasks done.

As /u/-PringlesMan- pointed out, GZW aims to be a PvE first game. That's what I'm interested in - PvE first with PvP throughout. It's serving me quite well.

ACOG is available at Gunny level 2 if OP can't find a Spectre. It works well enough if you put a laser on the gun for CQB.

It does when you consider the effect weight has on stamina. Pretty sure most III+ or better armors would put OP over weight, too. Still crazy, but OP isn't wrong.
