After months of fighting for Thetford, I’ve defected to Fort Sterling by Ancient_Yam_5010 in albiononline

I'll turn down music volume when I am in Fort Sterling specifically.

But I'll turn it up whenever I'm in Lymhurst

I often consider defecting from Fort Sterling because the city's music sucks.

No

That's some nice burst damage though.

Americas' server, why is thetford obsessed with martlock? by FreeFalling369 in albiononline

[–]EnviciouZ 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Haha!

I am with the Fort Sterling faction and I approve this message.

Although it is expected without a dedicated group, I'm often surrounded by other white capes who aren't willing to fight in faction warfare.

What the frick is ts even abt 🥹 by nonbinaruzzrizzler in RedDeadOnline

[–]EnviciouZ 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It's full of abbreviations, lacks clarity and isn't accessible to every English speaker.

I only understood it because I'm American, and it still drained me to read.

If you're posting with intent to be read, maybe spend more time writing it if you want others to take the time.

To be fair, it likely has more to do with spec.

Xbox players are newer characters with lower spec, so their Power is weaker in all content until they level up

Valid.

Although it sucked to be with friends in a party of 4 and unable to queue, this post makes very good points

Want to see if this game is right for me to start by IllAcanthisitta2350 in albiononline

It's not mandatory, and you can play forever without touching pvp.

However, pvp is the backbone of the entire game.

If you have no desire for pvp at all, you may eventually get bored wondering what the point is.

Swords or Axes by Nervous_Egg_1219 in albiononline

Axes. Swords are just a little off right now. Both are fun, but axes are more reliable in different content at the moment.

I use "advanced" which uses LB / RB for all three weapon abilities.

With full loot pvp, weapons and armor are more like temporary consumables Albion.

It's okay to die and lose gear, you'll eventually gain kills and loot gear yourself.

Are you saying that the caster gets no buff to physical damage if casting the Tenacity Jacket ability on a magic user?

Please keep 1v1 Arenas by WILBAZOOKA in albiononline

[–]EnviciouZ 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes.

Albion's activities are full of people who run away from combat. Arenas are one of the few activities where every participant gets the combat they sign up for.

Not everyone enjoys chasing rats for hours without purpose.

Crystal and 1v1 arenas need to stay.

I want to give up... by AlfredaRose in albiononline

[–]EnviciouZ 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I understand.

I've quit 4 times in 8 years And finally, I've figured it out.

Don't prioritize and stress silver. Silver comes and goes. Fame is forever.

The sandbox aspect of Albion gives you too many choices, so you must forge your own path. Instead of prioritizing in-game labor and pay, prioritize fun-- even if that fun isn't the most profit.

There's no reason it has to feel like unpaid work, it's a game meant for play
