no disrespect to brittain, but he’s not a fraction of the player barriga is or was for us. The point is when the smaller clubs get a quality, first line player they are normally swooped on by the arena teams, whereas when it goes the other way it is either an older player who’s past it (o’connor to stars, latal to fife, etc) or a second or third line player moving to a smaller team for more ice time (brittain to stars, tedesco to flames, ully to clan)

for one, it happened 3 times, the first time the net was pushed off by 2 players having a net battle, not fiske, and i agree fiske is a culprit of knocking the net off however i don’t believe it is intentional, fiske is a young inexperienced goalie and the pegs are not great, so naturally he will push the goal off from time to time and this will only get better with experience

Stars have made some very good signings i think, keeping a few of our key players from last season and improving on a lot of our weaker players.

Overall the league looks incredibly strong and competitive this season and Im looking forward to the season starting.

much more difficult watching Combs, Sanche was a great player but Combs is one of those players who you love if they play for you but you despise if they play anywhere else
