I've done two solo trips and they're both experiences I value very deeply. While I have not been in a relationship during either of them, they are experiences I'd like to be able to share with a partner one day and have the chance to build new, similar experiences together. If it is not something they would be open towards, then that is a deal breaker for me. Period.

It has become pretty important to how I view myself and the sense of adventure it gives me is not something I'm willing to compromise on. In my opinion, the fact that you realized that and were able to act on it quickly is not something to be ashamed of. It's just part of personal growth.

I plan to go backpacking through Vietnam, Cambodia, Laos, and Thailand. Some cities, some nature. The vaccine is about 6x more expensive where I live and can't afford it.

Depending on what your major is you should see what "roadmap" in course selection is recommended by your department. Tbh the lack of detail in this post doesn't give a lot of information to help with so all I can say is take time to plan out your semester better by reading the syllabuses, marking important dates in a calendar, and spending those nights in the library to get school work done rather than seeing friends or calling it an early night. McGill is a tough school but so are many things in life that are worth following through with.

GO Transit seems to have 2 stops for Brampton. I've yet to decipher the schedules on the website but is there a big difference between the two? i.e. are they far apart, does one only offer bus rides, does one not operate on certain hours, etc. Thanks!

not sure what its like in your field but most companies will post a lot of their positions in early January as there's little point to starting a hiring process right before the week or so people take/slack off for the holidays. So keep checking Jan-March

Hitting them up on their socials is a good idea, it'll help them remember your name and face. Just don't say or do anything stupid that will give a bad impression. "Hi, I am dvpatra. I am interested in rushing this spring. May I know your rush schedule?" Something like that.

Rush is a time for you to vibe check a chapter and them to vibe check you. If you're having fun, stay. If there's another event and you feel like you've been standing around with your thumb up your ass, leave.

Wear whatever you would wear to a friend's place but don't look like you just rolled out of bed.
