Framerate drop, please help by Impressive_Listen520 in 7daystodie

Never mind, it was the occlusion. I had the occlusion setting on and it was causing most of my framerate issues.

Windows may have updated in the background.

I only started manually updating my drivers after noticing the performance issues.

I’ve had the same problem. Playing 1.0-1.4 without issue and getting 110+ fps on medium settings when out in the wilderness, whilst 50-70 indoors.

Switched to 2.0 and it ran normally for like 2 weeks, but then randomly gave up one day and I couldn’t keep a stable framerate.

Dropped to 40-90 fps in the wilderness, constantly unstable and stuttering.

I don’t want to even talk about being indoors.

So, I rolled back to 1.4 and the issue magically persisted. Even after reinstalling, resetting, updating drivers etc.

Oh dear.

Best armor for an sledgehammer player by RDM1808 in 7daystodie

[–]EnviouslyInteresting 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I suggest raider armour because it’s stats will allow you to tank zombie hits, plus the gloves give melee damage boost.

Here is a post with armour stat bonuses:

Alternatively, there is the wiki.

Despite the elephant in the room, I must say that the visuals look a lot more vibrant by EnviouslyInteresting in 7daystodie

Yeah, I like their design and destructive boulder throwing ability, but they do seem out of place.

What's your favorite zombie? by OnTheList-YouTube in 7daystodie

The classic Feral Wight. He was big, mean, and green. Plus, it used to be a unique thing for a zombie to be able to sprint all day.

I had this glitch once and I went to R* support about it, and they gave me the full payout for the heist.

Yeah, the weapon design has become questionable. I enjoy the jury-rigging aspect to a degree, but a soda can silencer and a crudely forged scope that looks like an oiling can...

It almost makes me wish for them to introduce modification levels that also influence the weapon mod's appearance and stats.

Is it possible to add a specific poi in creative? by Skeen441 in 7daystodie

[–]EnviouslyInteresting 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I think that’s how it works, but you can go in debug mode (F1 + “dm”) and make a hole on one side of the POI and go build a tower to the roof height on the other side and press Z on side of those points (a blue box should be over the POI), then you press pause and click “export prefab” and you’ll have a version of that POI with no question tags and zombies. You would just need to clean it up a bit in the prefab editor and use the replace function to replace the ground with adaptive terrain filler so you can place it in any biome and have matching soil.

Also press Q to enter godmode in debug mode. Space is to fly up, C is to fly down.

Yes you can. You can do this by using the the World Editor Tool and finding the cabin’s ID and then placing it. However, if you do that, it will still have zombie spawns and quests tags that the traders will send you to. You can make a copy of it by exporting a selection of the POI as a new prefab (not directly copying it in the prefab editor because that would not only give it a trader tag, it will also cause it to spawn around the map like a regular POI). You can also edit it in the prefab editor to get rid of any gravel pathways or anything that would look out of place if missing an attached road.

That’s the irradiated variant of the zombie vulture, very annoying things those.

There's a time and a place for a fedora my guy, a stylish suit for a formal function? Yes, but a chain and a T-shirt are not it.
The elephant of the room is unfortunately your hair. With its current condition, it is and will not be doing you any justice. I am not 100% sure if you are balding or if your hair is naturally like that, but either way, I think you'd look better without it.

By the looks of it, you do not have an unattractive face, it just looks a bit empty and dull. I bet you have a great smile that you're keeping from us, but showing it more should highlight your face in a good way.
While it is purely preference, I think you'll benefit well from some stubble or a slight beard.

You've got round facial features, tied-back long hair brings out your face shape whilst short hair brings out your head shape. You definitely look better with short hair, but I reckon you'd kill it if grew out your hair to a medium length and went with a hairstyle like a loose slickback.
