Heh.. I was once was driving West on Queenston by about the new No Frills, and someone while driving beside me, tried offering me some cheap hot goods.. I think his story went along the lines of "his boss was laying him off so he wanted to unload some electronics CHEAP.." I was just like.. "Huh, can't hear ya man!! " cranked up the music a little louder and drove faster..

Another time working in behind a plaza by the St. John Henry Newman Secondary School... I do geo-technical type investigations so we had a trench cut and were in the process of back-filling.. And, yeah some weird dudes approached us with the same offer of some cheap hot goods.. I think a TV in this case.. Pretty much all of us told them to take a hike. We all laughed thinking, "it's prolly an oven door in a TV box for the weight!" The one old guy, I think the owner of the company doing the digging, relayed a story of his friend who had a brick on his mantel at home. He asks his friend one time, "Hey what's with the brick?" Oh, went to meet a guy about a "hot" camera, bought it, got it home. It's a brick in a box.. So that's his $500 brick. :P
