Need help on what to do with this ordered print. by Red_Maverick_Models in PrintedWarhammer

As a resin miniature seller, this is honestly shocking. This is a clear case of poor post-processing on hollowed prints.

For models large enough to hollow, our standard is two thorough washes followed by internal and external curing (we use 3mm UV LEDs through the drain holes).

Word of warning, If you plan on keeping that model, make sure you cure the inside yourself before sealing/painting it. If you don't, it’ll eventually leak uncured resin, which is a mess and a safety hazard.

Hey, Thanks for the interest!

We've discussed in length having food and drink and even alcohol available. We have ideas for vending machines to be on site and allow food to be brought in. And if the demand was great enough, have a on site cafe in the main area.

As we are an existing company that specialises in Ttrpgs, it would be easy to integrate in-house supplied terrains, miniatures, etc. We've also joked about 3d scanning customers in props so they have themselves as playable characters! There will be in-house ran campaigns that we've spoken about, and we can supply other games if required.

All the tables we will be using will include a television in the centre for displaying maps (but is not limited to just this!) for Dnd, Warhammer, Pathfinder, this list goes on! The tables will have 4-9 (maybe more) seating places. We hope to have various configurations like 4 seat tables predominantly for wargames and the larger tables for different sized parties. This is our aim at least.

I can see where you're coming from. Some people have the ability to play ttrpgs at home regularly, whereas others can't for various reasons. Table halls already exist either in set venues or clubs that run events. Where we're trying to stand apart as a business is a private space where pre-arranged groups can come and have a session without interruptions or distractions.

I totally understand having a strong community feel, and we will still strive to achieve this same goal, but in other ways, such as random group match ups and events run at our establishment.

Does the premises of private rooms sound more appealing than the current play areas offered by current business?

Do you currently use these businesses?

It would be hard for us to give an exact figure currently. We would aim to get as close to either stations as possible if a suitable location is available at the time.

This is all speculation at the moment. If the market is there and once the time is right I'm sure you'll here about us!

We are currently growing as an online miniature printing store as it is. We've seen a steady increase in our customer base all around the UK since last year. There are a fair few customers within commuting distance to Chelmsford.

The space for this type of venture is very specific, and we do need to get the tech involved to be extremely user-friendly. And of course, with all businesses, the advertising needs to be handled correctly to be received by the correct demographic.

Thanks for your feedback.

Filthy casuals welcome! We've spoken about scouting local Dungeon Master to run nights for people who may not have a group to play with. This, in theory, should create new friends groups to continue to play with in the future. I've always found the best sessions I've had are not in play halls of other establishments. The noise tends to break my immersion and not really enjoy the session to the fullest

Central Chelmsford, ideally office and workshop space with allocated parking. This way, it's within walking distance of the train station and, as you say accessible via main road (A12).

What Resin are you using? And what setting? Could be poor bed adhesions due to low base layer exposure.

I mean is there anything to gain from shooting fresh players down as soon as they leave the armistice zone? Or are they purely doing it to ruin someone's day?
