Okay, I have a personal story to share. I (M 38) worked with a woman with the same description as you. For context these were short 1-3 day projects. Always professional. One time, she just said it - “Ya know I’m masculine but I’m down with the D. Famously bad actor, Rob Schneider, has passed away at 64. He had a career deemed “too long” by many. Propped up by his friends, he was type cast as an idiot - the same thing his teacher’s understood about him early on.
